Samsung Washer Repair
Adis was very quick to find the issue with the washer. The first repair visit he ordered the part needed to fix the leaking issue. Today he came and installed the new control board and the top washer is now working without leaking. Would recommend him to anyone !

New Hartford's freezing, snowy winters and warm, humid summers put year-round demands on home appliances. With relative humidity averaging near the high end most of the year and damp basements common in mid-century capes and ranches, moisture can quietly accelerate rust and corrosion on washer components and other metal parts. Moderately hard Central New York water adds mineral scale that affects dishwashers, water heaters, and refrigerator ice lines. Many homes here were built in the middle of the last century, so appliances often work alongside older venting, plumbing, and electrical setups. Our manufacturer-trained technicians see these local patterns constantly and know how to address the root cause, not just the symptom.
A refrigerator that won't hold temperature is one of the most urgent calls we get, especially with a family's weekly grocery run on the line. Common culprits include failing compressors, worn door gaskets, frost-clogged evaporator coils, and faulty temperature sensors. In many New Hartford kitchens, moderately hard water leaves mineral scale that clogs ice maker lines and water dispensers over time. Dusty condenser coils also force the system to work harder, which is easy to overlook in busy households. Our technicians diagnose the exact fault and carry commonly needed parts. Cleaning the coils once or twice a year is a simple preventive step that extends the life of the unit.
When a washer won't spin or drain, laundry piles up fast — a real problem in homes where the laundry setup sits in the basement or utility room. Typical causes include worn drive belts, failed lid switches, clogged drain pumps, and faulty pressure switches. The damp, humid basement conditions common in many mid-century New Hartford homes can accelerate corrosion on metal components and valves. Hard-water scale can also build up inside hoses and inlet valves. Our technicians test the motor, pump, and control board to pinpoint the issue. Keeping the machine level and cleaning the door seal helps prevent repeat failures.
With cold winters and a long heating season, dryers here run hard for months at a stretch. A dryer that tumbles but won't heat usually points to a failed heating element, blown thermal fuse, or faulty thermostat. In older homes, long or restricted vent runs reduce airflow, which strains the heating system and creates a fire risk. Lint buildup deep in the vent is a frequent, overlooked cause. Our technicians check the element, sensors, and airflow path to restore safe, efficient drying. Cleaning the full vent run annually is one of the best ways to keep a dryer working reliably.
A leaking or poorly draining dishwasher can damage cabinets and flooring quickly. Common causes include worn door gaskets, clogged filters, failing drain pumps, and cracked spray arms. Central New York's moderately hard water is a big factor locally, leaving scale that clogs spray arms and leaves spotting on dishes. Older kitchens in the area sometimes have retrofitted units where fittings loosen over time. Our technicians inspect seals, hoses, and the pump to find the leak source. Running a dishwasher cleaner monthly helps cut down on mineral buildup and keeps performance strong.
An oven that heats unevenly or won't reach temperature makes everyday cooking frustrating, especially through the holiday baking season. Electric ovens often need a new bake or broil element, while gas ranges may have a faulty igniter or gas valve. Worn temperature sensors and failing control boards are also common in older units. New Hartford kitchens run the full range from original mid-century standard-width ranges to newer premium models, so we service both gas and electric. Our technicians calibrate and test the appliance before leaving. A yearly check of door seals and sensors helps keep temperatures accurate.
With temperatures that swing from the teens in winter to the low 80s in summer and 60-plus inches of annual snowfall, heating systems in New Hartford work overtime. Furnaces and boilers carry the heaviest load, and problems like short cycling, no heat, or a noisy blower tend to surface at the worst time. Heat pumps must handle both heating and cooling, so worn compressors and refrigerant issues affect year-round comfort. The wooded Sauquoit and Mohawk Valley setting also means outdoor condenser units collect leaves and organic debris that reduce efficiency. Our technicians service central air, heat pumps, and furnaces from approved brands. Annual preventive maintenance before each season is the smartest way to avoid a mid-winter or mid-summer breakdown.
Costs vary by appliance and the parts needed. Your technician starts with an on-site diagnosis, then provides an exact quote — parts and labor — that's locked in once provided. The diagnostic fee runs $90 to $150 depending on the appliance and is waived if you proceed with the repair. You approve the cost before any work begins.
We're available 6 days a week with early morning to evening appointments. Same-day appointments may be available in your area, so check for same-day availability when you schedule online or by phone. Booking early in the day gives you the best chance at a quick slot.
We repair most major brands, no matter where you bought it, including Whirlpool, Maytag, Samsung, LG, GE, Kenmore, KitchenAid, Frigidaire, Amana, and Bosch, plus premium names like Thermador and Dacor. Our manufacturer-trained technicians work across gas and electric models common in Mohawk Valley homes.
Most refrigerators last around 10 to 13 years. If yours is under 8 years old and the repair costs less than about half the price of a new unit, repair is usually the smart call — especially in an ownership-heavy area like New Hartford where keeping quality appliances running pays off. Our technician can assess the condition and give you an exact quote so you can decide with confidence.
It's three simple steps. First, schedule online or call (315) 371-4989 and check for same-day availability. Second, your manufacturer-trained technician diagnoses the issue on-site and provides an exact quote before any work begins. Third, we complete the repair, test the appliance, and back it with a service guarantee.
Yes. After the on-site diagnosis, your technician gives you an exact quote covering parts and labor. That quote is locked in once provided and doesn't change. You approve the cost before any work starts, and if you decline, you pay only the diagnostic fee.

Central New York's moderately hard water leaves mineral scale that can clog dishwasher spray arms, reduce water heater efficiency, and build up in refrigerator ice and water lines. Over time this causes spotting, slower performance, and premature part failure. Regular cleaning cycles and occasional professional maintenance help offset the effects.
A few simple habits go a long way. Clean refrigerator condenser coils once or twice a year, run a dishwasher cleaner monthly to fight scale, and have your dryer vent cleaned annually — especially important with long vent runs in older homes and heavy winter use. Scheduling seasonal HVAC maintenance before winter and summer helps your heating and cooling systems handle the region's wide temperature swings.
