First guy they sent out messed up sent wrong part which delayed process by an extra month the second and third guy that came out were great, fast knowledgeable, and friendly . Like everyplace today they need to hire better more knowledgeable workers to get the job done right the first time. Sears was unapologetic for over two month wait for repair on warrantied fridge but the repairmen (not the first guy who was clueless) at least were sympathetic and made up for a bad experience

Only complaint is the 8 to 5 appointment window. At least do morning or afternoon.

The work by the technicians has been a 5-star experience. My issues have been a breakdown in communication as to where replacement parts have been delivered to. The biggest issue, has been the lack of ability to speak with a human when questions don't match the options provided.

After 7 disappointments with techs and Sears home services . I’m so thankful for Joel who took it upon himself to take care of us and fix my fridge … Well I spoke too soon this fridge is NOT working . Same problem Not cooling . Could you please come back and fix ???? It’s been since June 10 … how do I get help???

Sears Home Services was a complete nightmare and I will never use them for a repair again, and I don't recommend you do either unless you have no other choice. Issue 1) My initial scheduled appt was three days ago. I took the day off work, and all day I was led to believe that a repair technician would arrive until after 3pm, at which point they canceled my service appt and provided me with several less convenient options for rescheduling. 2) There is no one to talk to, no phone number to call, with the exception of an AI chat, which was useless. 3) The actual service was a latch repair, which required less than 10 minutes and $25 in parts. I was then charged $299.95 in labor for "one hour" which I know is standard practice but is also criminal. 4) I was informed by the technician that this part wouldn't be covered by any warranty because the QR code that was on the back of our machine that provided the serial number "Could have come from any unit" and therefore our machine did not qualify for a warranty. So, to recap, no discount for canceling the first appt with no notice, no discount for having a quick repair, no customer service to speak of, and no warranty. Should be illegal to have service this bad.

******* DONT BUY SEARS KENMORE OR LG ******* The Sears appliance repair service is horrible. Not being able to speak to a real person and being rerouted over and over again to the AI system is the worst service I have ever encountered. Having a refrigerator compressor fail in less than 7 years is uncalled for. Had to pay for 2 separate technicians to come and do nothing but tell us that there is a lawsuit regarding faulty LG compressors that are not covered. We would never buy another Sears or LG product again and would warn anyone else against doing so. Sears used to be very reputable…but not anymore!

The technician is very incompetent and couldn’t repair the refrigerator. He kept ordering wrong parts and blamed the LG for sending wrong parts and gave up fixing it. He told me he couldn’t repair the refrigerator and brought all the ordered parts back and went away. So disappointed and can’t trust the technician and the company anymore.

Buyer beware! Do not use this company to service your refrigerator!! The technician’s are not knowledgeable and very shady. The technician that came to service my refrigerator once the part came in, said he couldn’t put it in because it was the wrong part. He left the part there and now I am responsible to Pay out-of-pocket to have the part returned before I can get credit for the part and the labor that was never performed. Interestingly, enough, the technician also offered to get another part and is I called him directly and he would put it in for $100. A bit shady I’d say, considering I already paid Sears to have the part installed. What clinched my accurate opinion of this technician team was that the part wasn’t the wrong part After all because I called another repair company to fix my fridge and they used the part that Sears ordered!! Their offshore customer service is the worst to try and get anything accomplished. You can’t talk to anyone local about your experience. I’m now working through Better Business Bureau To get my $300 of labor cost back. UPDATE- 3 days after my review, you can see that the owner responded asking me to call 1-800-469-4663 for further assistance. This is the same customer care number I have been calling and getting nowhere with. Bottom line - take your service elsewhere.

guy was rude ignorant and has no idea or knowledge of what he’s talking talking about. Has lack of communication and horrible customer service skills. Also had no idea about said parts ordered for job etc
