I will give zero stars if possible. When scheduling the appointment, they promised a window 1:00-5:00 pm. Technician landed at 11:30 am, called me, and promised to return at 1:30 pm but just vanished. Impossible to reach a human if you call them. Will never call them again// ‐------- Sears called me back to reschedule at a convenient time. Appreciate their efforts to fix my concerns.

Very over priced. The delay in getting the part was also costly, seeing as how it was a fridge. Unfortunately, we didn't price the part before paying and were intimidated by the "labor" costs. It took your tech 15 minutes to install a $40 part and we paid $400 in addition to losing that in spoiled food. Tony was a nuke in the navy and, while he did save his back working on the floor, he could have done the repair himself.

I was charged $299 for labor. The technician didn't even take half an hour to change the dryer belt. There was a $50 cleaning fee, but I don't know as that was done. If so, it would have been a 10 minute cleaning. I was glad they had the part needed for the dryer on their van.

Sears home service repair has been contracted to fix my ventless dryer since August 2024. It is now January and I’ve had I think six or seven appointments with this company to repair this dryer. They have shown up successfully once and the replacement part was malfunction so that wasn’t their fault and they did get another one to my house. ***Note that the service tech left my dryer and at least 10 pieces. When the service tech was supposed to come to my house in the beginning of January, this tech did not communicate that they were on their way until they were in my driveway. Had not expected this and thought I had a good 15 minutes to get home. I got there as fast as I could but the tech had already so they missed me and left and refused to come back. Sears that offered me another appointment. Yet again there’s no communication from the tech, no phone call or text message as they promise. The tracking system shows my check should’ve been here at 9:09 this morning. It is now currently 11:19. And as you can imagine folks there is no contact. I’ve already called the number and Was told that they would get back to me with an update. Do yourselves a favor do not buy the extended warranty through Lowe’s because they use Sears home services for repairs. And doesn’t seem too worried about customer service.

Wow. It was alarming how unhelpful having them come out was. Seems like a money grab. Guy was here for 5 min and told me he could not help me on my oven that is like 5 years old. Charged me 150 for 5 min. Not sure what they actually help with.

Hired Sears to do a deep clean of washer and dryer at new house we just moved into... I cannot for the life of me figure out what the technician did while he was here for a couple of hours.. this is what it looked like after he left and told me everything was cleaned. **UPDATE: spoke to customer service and they said they do not guarantee the technician's quality of work and I would have to pay the fee again to have them come back.

I'd give a zero instead of 1 star if I could. Sears has been no call no show for several months for servicing our refrigerator. The confirmed via automated system that they were coming yestersay and that the parts that were sent for diagnostics were received. Waited at home all day only for them to cancel via text and reschedule for another month out. They schedule and do not show up. They were contracted with American Home Warranty who set this up, which is an equal nightmare.
