Unfortunately Karl did not resolve the issue of the water leak which seems to be unrelated to the use of rinse aid and excessive suds as he indicated. Now we must schedule another repair appointment and wait around .

Not Mark’s fault … but the data system Sears uses. Mark was unaware of how many service calls (5-6 service calls is year alone) I’ve had for the same issue with my dryer. I had to explain everything I’ve gone through with this dryer. I have not happy with my GE dryer from the start 3.5 years ago. I truly believe it’s a defective dryer and will not purchase a GE product moving forward. Another Sears data system issue … 7:50am I received an update from Sears saying my technician would be out sometime between 7:31am and 8:50pm and was 3 stops away. I knew this was unrealistic. Mark arrived around noon. Mark got the repair done quickly. Very neat - left zero trace he was at my home. He was friendly.

Communication was poor. Repair was scheduled for between 8-12pm, tracking said expected around 930, no show until 230pm, with call at 130pm to say on way. No apology for delay (just a “sorry for delay I got hung up at another customer “ would have been fine!). Rep was not friendly at all, made me sign waivers before he moved frig (guess Sears expected me to move), & after 10 minutes told me the icemaker & filter repair would cost almost $1300 (I can replace frig for $1500). Oh, and Sears called 4x before the service appointment to sell me $70/month service agreement. I’ll never call Sears service again-& that’s a shame as I have used them for 40years with great service until now.

I've used A&E Appliance Repair (Sears) a few times before and was thoroughly pleased with both the service tech and the service performed... including the charge for service. However, today's service call has left me feeling taken advantage of. The only part that needed to be replaced was a $60 evaporator fan (GE's price). The tech said the "tower" (a thin plastic channel that houses the fan and acts as an air-flow chase) also needed to be replaced. The tech was here for 45 minutes but actually worked for only 30 minutes, and the bill was almost $700 dollars. I was not provided with an itemized bill/receipt nor did the tech leave the replaced parts behind. The only thing I got from the tech was argumentative attitude, right from the start. Yes, I was given a cost to repair estimate... after he arrived, but not at the time of scheduling. Had I known the repair was going to cost the DISCOUNTED price of $684.58 I'd have found someone else to do the job. At that point my hands were tied because I desperately needed the refrigerator fixed. Sears Appliance Repair (A&E Appliance Service) knows how to fix appliances but their pricing is criminal and the techs' attitude needs adjusting.

I would give you a zero. You have not shown up three times to a scheduled call. And I have a warranty with you. DO NOT BUY their service package. It is a scam! I am picking dishwasher repair but I never got my dishwasher repaired for almost 8 weeks

This is the second visit and I was promised a different and more experienced technician. I was very unhappy when the same guy showed up today who is not experienced enough and and shorted out my circuit board while he was hear & could not fix the unit. He doesn't;t know wiring, he unwired my thermostat and my safety system for shutting the system down and could not re connect it bc he shorted out my entire unit. He then said he would have someone there the next day and no one came for 11 days and it was him again. I asked him to at least re hook up my thermostat and he could not even do that!! AS far as I am concerned the Sear co. is useless and should go out of business right away!! It's 100% AI and that even worse. There is NOT even a human to speak to at any time, including when he electrocuted himself the last time he was here with 240 volts! I had to have another company at my expense come in and change out the circuit board bc no one can wait 11 more days for a service man to show up for air conditioning during the summer months and again NO HUMAN to speak with and the warrantee company (Choice) is even worse. Every Every time you try to ask to speak to someone they press a button and send you to the Philippines EVERY time you call! Horrible!! Don;t use them!! When Brian came the unit was working, but making noise which was the reason for the service. He took it apart and he gave up with the unit not working at all and he had no idea what to do. He said his co. Would send someone more knowledgeable the next day, (today) and nothing! In fact when I called Choice Conti check they had info that was all wrong and said the unit wasn’t even accessible!! There is plenty of room with a ceiling u can stand in!! Nothing reported by Brian as to what he found and how he left it!! So disappointing and it’s 90 out and here we suffer fro Horrible service from Sears and now Chouce co as well!! Very very accessible! I feel like what he wrote was for a different job!

$600+ charge and didn't receive a bill. Just the charge and job completed. Customer service is impossible to contact. Online recall of job just gives you the same info,no breakdown. No part cost no labor cost or time no tax info, nothing.
