Looking through email, I found a Sears advertisement for refrigerator repair and thought to give it a shot and see if they also repaired air conditioners (HVAC). Success! I got lucky and was able to get an appointment within 48 hours. Brett was on time and professional! I’ve had several technicians look at my unit and both recommended replacement but I just didn’t trust the advice. I thought going with a local repair company was more affordable and trustworthy but I was wrong. Putting my faith in the Sears brand was the smartest thing I could do. With my other unit of the split working, I was slow to move on repairing the big one. Luckily I didn’t trash the unit even though it hadn’t worked for over 7 years—until today. It took Brett 10 minutes to identify the problem that other technicians said was an impossible fix. He was very transparent and I even learned a few things watching him work. His advice and guidance were sound and more importantly the issue corrected. I thanked him profusely because now, I no longer fear warm, humid days. By the end of the visit, I finally managed to get a few laughs from Brett—he was all business until the job was done. I hope I won’t need service anytime soon but if I do, I know who to call! I couldn’t be happier!
