Sears/Jose were trying only to quote me very high! Jose was focused only on the payments, after all, the part missing from my machine was under $50 but they want to charge me over 10 times more for it and when i declined the quote, Jose was just rating the experience for himself on my behalf. This company in my opinion is just a scam. I will never think contacting them again.

I do have to say the technicians are professional and knowledge. No issues there. The reason this is a one star review is that this is some of the worst scheduling and communication I've ever seen from a company. Called about a broken refrigerator on a Thursday, the technician was there the next day and diagnosed the issue. He had to order parts which wouldn't be there until the following Monday. The next available service appointment was the following Wednesday. The parts came on Monday, no problem, and if the fridge had been fixed on Wednesday this would have been a fix star review. On Wednesday I received a text rescheduling the appointment for Friday, no explanation. On Friday I get a call from the technician saying they added my home to his route at the very end of his shift and he wouldn't be able to make it. Therefore, the appointment got rescheduled to the following Monday. The following Monday there was a snowstorm so they of course rescheduled to the next Wednesday when finally the fridge was fixed. EACH and every time they reschedule they give a service window of 9 am to 3 pm which basically means someone has to be home all day. There is also no way to talk to a human about any of this! Their automated system just directs you to a website which only gives you the option to cancel or reschedule. Calling their phone number just gets you to an AI agent. In summary, do not use this company, ever. Go with someone with a person on the other end of the phone who you can actually talk to about issues.

Technician never called prior to arrival. Then somehow missed us and left and still sent a bill Second try. He never showed up and claimed he did. Never use these guys.

Nightmare service.,never buy their's plan, it took 3 weeks to fix the refrigerator ,two weeks they made the appointment that technician will come, i waited 8am to 5pm and around 5 pm they massage me that technician is not coming. This is unacceptable and there is no one to talk, to talk with person you have to press option to file a new claim and then you will be able to speak someone.

Interacting with Sears Appliance Repair has become a nightmare because there's no way to talk to a real person when you have a question or claim not included on their automated menus. So when the technician told me that the part needed for the repair was going to be shipped to my house and the part appeared as "delivered" on their website, I was trying to contact them to find out if they got the part or if I should reschedule the appointment, there was no way to find out. Not only they overcharge you for the part (they charged $ 98 for a dryer belt drive that costs $ 36.75 at GE, but they also charge you $300 for a job that was completed in 17 minutes. I wasn't home when the technician arrived, so my wife interacted with him. When I came home later, I found out that the light inside the dryer wasn't working, so I text messaged the technician who just told me that if the dryer was working, the light wasn't a problem. I don't think that this poor service is acceptable. Update: I got a reply from Sears offering to solve the problem, but they only gave me the same website and phone number that doesn't allow talking to a person. How can I explain that is not a new order but a claim from a previous order? Update #2: These guys are just incredible. The same technician that didn't assume responsibility for the quality of his work just called and asked me if I was aware of the cost of the repair. I told him that his company was asking for a chance to do a better job and he insisted that the current problem wasn't related to the previous repair. I decided to cancel the appointment since I can't request that they send a different technician. Unless I get a phone call for a real person, I won't schedule another appointment.

Waited for 4 hours They just didnt show up I tried to call 8 times It is nearly impossible to get someone on the phone I finally got through to someone who confirmed the appointment They just didnt show up after giving a 4 hour window I took a day off of work to be home
