Charged $384 for a half an hour of a technician time without replacing any parts is extremely high. I didn’t receive any invoice explaining what was done, details of the amount charged, or warranty, if any. While the technician has said the job would cost “couple of hundred dollars”, it ended with almost double that amount $384! Extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with the name of Sears that used to be a legendary one!!!

I was told that the problem with my washing machine was that it needed new springs but that it would cost at least $500 to repair (cost of labor about $300). The repairman told me about a warranty program that would cost more than $50 per month but would cover all my appliances. I would still have had to pay $200 for the repair even if I bought the warranty (The rest of my appliances are brand new, so the warranty didn't make sense). So, it was either shell out $500 to $700+ to repair a 20 year old washing machine. This is why the United States is a "throw away culture" - it makes more sense to buy new appliances than repair the old ones. I paid the $129 for the visit and the repairman left. Complete waste of time. At least the repairman was honest.

Overall the service of repair was completed to what I assume is correct, have not yet had a chance to test the washing machine, however the lack of communication on next steps after the initial diagnostic visit was unfortunate. We were not made aware that the pieces required for repair were being sent directly to our home. Additionally our initial follow up visit nobody showed. When we called to ask why they indicated it was because we did not call to notify the parts came in, this was also a step in the process that was not explained to us by the technician. As a result the service was pushed back 2 more days just creating a level of inconvenience for a variety of reasons. As a recap I trust the work was performed well but the communication of follow up steps after diagnosis was poor creating an undesirable experience.

My experience with Sears' repair service was extremely disappointing. I lost three days of work waiting for a technician who never showed up and didn’t reach out to me. Each day, an appointment was scheduled, and a time was set, but no one ever arrived. Trying to reach a live person to inquire about the technician’s status was nearly impossible. After calling multiple numbers and finally getting through to someone, they were never able to provide me with an accurate update. On the third day, six hours after the scheduled time, someone finally showed up unannounced. I would not recommend Sears' repair service unless you have endless time to waste and don’t mind dealing with an automated system that offers no real answers or updates. It felt like playing Russian Roulette.

Our refrigerator Stopped cooling on a Wednesday so we called and we’re told that technicians only come to our area on Mondays so we had to Wait, five days. We had a technician come in. He diagnosed the issue and then had to order parts. We had to wait 10 more business days for him to come back to install the parts that were ordered. He came back on the scheduled day to install the new parts that were ordered, however by doing so for some reason our fridge is now worse off than it was prior to the new parts being installed. I then Called to speak to someone and try and get a technician back out here ASAP to fix the issue again we were told we had to wait three weeks for an appointment. We have already been out of a Working refrigerator for three weeks and will have to go another three weeks. PS a refrigerator is only six months old. We will never buy a Kenmore Ever again! I truly did not believe that the technicians know what they are Doing or talking about. He kept telling us that a temperature of 45° was just fine. Last time I checked that is 1000% incorrect. So frustrated, Had to throw away a bunch of food twice. And will they even offer to reimburse me for anything? NOPE! But they did try and get us to pay the $69 a month For their protection plan. It’s actually Laughable. I understand now why there are a lot of sears stores that are Closed!

This tech lied to my son. He also left and failed to propetly and honestly report information to Sears. I had a Saturday appointment but it had to be updated for today. Now I have to teschedule.

Not happy at all. Canceled my insurance today. I was told that I would be getting a refund with in 7-10 for a discount of $150 by the repair man when I signed up. Come to find out 17 days later it wasn’t even processed and was told that I would have to now wait another 14-21 days and that it would be $106 that I would be getting back. So I said no thank you cancel my insurance. These people are so deceptive. You guys need to talk to Felix your technician to stop giving out false in formation!
