Good job David, I thank you for arriving earlier, because I had school pick up and David made it happen. David explained what happened and why the refrigerator had this leak. Great service, great attitude with a smile. Nice meeting you.

Darrell finished the Dishwasher job that was diagnosed and started by Hector. Darrell added some useful Ideas for preventing a recurrence of the problem. Our previous Icemaker repair continues to function properly. Unfortunately, the dishwasher often would not finish its job and shut off prematurely. Today Hector came in and finished up again. As of now, 4;30 PM Friday December 5, he has left with the dishwasher ready to run again. We are hopeful. Now, I am writing on Jan 12. The dishwasher didn't run properly ever again. Hector had spent several hours on it. We had to replace it. The Ice-maker job went well so long as David M. was on it. The repairs that David has made in several visits in the past two years had years had made it even a better ice-maker. If he had come today I believe he would have made another temporary fix of the badly executed filtered water function. Unfortunately, the filtered water function of the ice-maker had failed again since his previously successful visit. I believe that function is an engineering error. The water can freeze in the line between the ice-making function and the dispenser region. This part of the water line had consistently dispensed water to the ice-making function for over 20 years and usually continued to do so, but it on several occasions froze somewhere between there and the water dispenser which still today will dispense crushed or cubed ice on demand, but not water. I believe that Hector's suggestion is correct that if we were to remove all frozen foods from the freezer section and allow the freezer to warm up to room temperature, we could keep the elderly Refrigerator-Freezer that has served us these 25 years functioning. Thus, I'd give five stars to David whose tricks kept the Refrigerator-freezer in good repair for several years. I'd withhold a couple of stars from Hector. He had allowed us to abandon the dishwasher not repaired. He approached the Ice-maker unprepared. David and other Sears Home Service technicians had worked on it many time over years. The system you use should have not assigned him the the ice-maker job I believe it is Sears Home Service mismanagement rather than Hector's inadequacy that causes my dissatisfaction.
