I witnessed the owner be really nasty.. she should be a little bit more grateful. It hasn't snowed for years. Customer retention is so valuable

The repairperson, Hector, was professional and easy to work with. However, a simple replacement of an ignitor for the stove took four visits. Five if you count the time they didn't show up at all and we waited in the house all day. After quickly determining the problem, they had a replacement ignitor sent by mail to the house. However, when they returned it turns out that we were sent a knob instead of an ignitor. After waiting yet another week, and having the correct part sent to the house, it turn out that the replacement ignitor was broken. I was told that they had a replacement ignitor on the truck but it cost an additional $60 which they would not provide unless we paid the extra cost. So, instead of providing the ignitor on the truck that day as we refused to pay, they came back another day to finally finish the job. Somehow Sears would rather spend more money in labor and time to send two repair people to the house a fourth time than give a customer who had been without a stove for almost 2 weeks a $60 upgrade. I'm not sure how that is cost effective for Sears. It may explain their bankruptcy. Regardless, I had used Sears Home Services a number of times in the past but will never use them again. One more thing, their AI system is a joke. It told me I wasn't home when they arrived and sent me a picture of my house when the repairmen were actually inside the house at the time. It also had my name wrong and thought the issue was a washer machine when it was a stove. I don't blame Sears for not providing a easy way to contact an actual human. Their customer service is so bad I'm sure this save them the trouble of dealing with frustrated customers.

Poor experience with Sears Appliance Repairs today and not even an automated way to submit a complaint. Real customer service folks are no longer available to assist - only AI automated service. Service person called at service appointment time and says that dryer must be removed from closet an unstacked from washer for them to service unit that Sears actually installed. Pointy to waste the time waiting for them. Really sad fall from a solid service provided that I had used for many years. Time to find a new provided.

You can't talk to a live human anymore. AI only. My appointment was canceled and rescheduled without contacting me. They arrived outside the indicated time window. No way for me to request a refund for them wasting my time but if I had canceled with no notice like they did to me they would have charged me.

Automated System to get a tech. NO Human phone agents. Tech Came out to make repair. Problem still exists. can't get tech or anyone on the phone. Disappointing...

Absolutely the worst in customer service communication. The repair was done, (took over a month for Part to come in) the tech did the repair fine when he finally came back. However, all customer communication is AI. The phone number connects to a computer. No real agent to speak to. If you have a problem other than scheduling an appointment it’s a huge hassle. I will never use them again. Sears is not like it use to be. Find a repair place that runs their customer service with humans.

Id rate you a zero if i could. I took off, and you no showed. Then when i tried to talk to a human being, you don't have any. Nobody should go with sears. They have no accountability.
