Diagnostic Visit: Mark arrived to inspect my dying 2 year old Maytag dishwasher. He was courteous and professional. The verdict was a seized wash motor. I later discovered the problem is a fault of this particular model, as the filter allows too large food particles into the circulator (wash) motor which causes seizing up. I found a reputable website that lists the motor for about $200. Mark quoted me a repair price of about $700. š³ Diagnostic visit cost was $129, which is reasonable. (Repair price is not reasonable for a dishwasher, as theyāre not really that difficult to work on). Of course I will not have Sears replace the motor for $700 when the appliance cost less than that, thatās ridiculous!!!!! And the same problem is guaranteed to reccur! At least Iāve learned a lot about buying appliancesš¤¦š»āāļø

Bob came, diagnosed the problem, gave me my options and when he returned, my washing machine was back up and running. Apparently this problem has been going on since I got the Used machine many years ago because now I can actually fill my machine with hot water and not have it flipped back-and-forth to cold water and hot water. I couldnāt be happier.

Tim was great. He had scheduled an appointment between 8 and 10 in the morning; however, I missed him while I was upstairs, so he called, and we rescheduled for later that afternoon, around 2:30 PM. He was prompt. He was professional, took about half an hour or so to diagnose the microwave, and realized it needed an expensive part. He reached out to my warranty company, and they said they would prefer not to repair it but would follow up with me.
