They rescheduled me twice without telling me why they were rescheduling me. I couldn’t get a hold of anybody and it took them A week and a half to get back to me after the initial appointment was supposed to be! Though the technician was very nice and did a great job, him I give five stars

Made a service appointment that required me to stay home from 8a - 5p. I checked several times during the day., and "Sarah" assured me the technician was on the way. Sarah said she was not virtual, but I question this. At 4:30p, after 8 1/2 hours waiting, Sears sent an automated email saying the technician was not able to make the appointment. They would not confirm a new service for another week. They also would not confirm a first stop visit, saying I needed to commit another 9- hour day. Dreadful service experience. Try A-1 Appliance Repair. You can reach a real human.

Sears used to be a trusted name, but I'm not at all certain what this company is. We called about a leaking LG washing machine. The service was easy to schedule, and the repair tech arrived on the schedule day, calling ahead as promised. He evaluated the issue, ordered a part, and I signed an estimate and was charged in advance for the work to be completed. The part was shipped to my home. On the schedule day of service, I was notified at nearly 3pm that they would not be keeping the appointment. This was after innumerable texts and emails reminding me to be here. I rescheduled, took another day off from work, and was again notified at nearly 3pm that they would not be keeping the appointment. It is impossible to speak to a human on the phone. Only after canceling the appointment was I given the option to chat with a live agent (still no phone call). They insisted that I send the part back to get a refund. I asked that they charge me for the part and refund the balance. Said they can only issue a refund if I ship the part back AT MY EXPENSE. I was finally able to get the agent to give me a phone number where, after several minutes and much wrangling, I was able to speak to a live agent who told me I would have to call back the next day when the appointment finally showed as cancelled in their system. When I balked, she insisted that calling back was the only option. I suggested that they make a note and handle the labor refund the next day and notify me when it was complete. Total refusal. You can't hate the state of modern customer service enough. If you need an appliance repaired, go ahead and roll the dice with Sears. If they show up, they're friendly and knowledgeable. If they don't, you're forced into a post-apocalyptic wasteland of customer service hell where you don't matter. The only reason they get a 1-star rating from me is that Google doesn't offer a lower option.

***WARNING*** From the minute I called to schedule an appointment. I was told $129 to walk in the door! Then they wanted me to sign up for a warranty. Text everyday and emails. I had a dryer that was squeaking. I have LG stackables that are latched into one another. In a small space. The individual walked in took a look, didn't take it apart. GUESSED at what was wrong. Then proceeded to tell me It would be 366.00 Plus the 129.00!! Well, people do the math. If they did this to every person who made an appointment. I guess they'd be very wealthy! I'm absolutely disgusted. I don't normally do bad reviews. But to walk in my door charge me $129 and do absolutely nothing!!!! Wow! Buyer beware.

I waited all day til 5:00 for my so called appointment and then was notified that I had cancelled the appointment which of course I did not! This is not a reliable service!

WAAAAAYYYY OVER PRICED!!!!! and takes them forever to get to your house,, 2 week lead time.. and $130 trip charge, NO THANKS!! a few other local choices are much better!

Their technicians after having me take 2 days off from work got my appliance repaired. HOWEVER, they caused more damage to the appliance and to my house (a door). I was told I would have to take 2 more days off from work for them to do the work and no concern about the door they broke. They refuse to correct the damage they did without me taking 2 more days off from work. I am worse off now than before they came to my house.
