Had two refrigerator repair appointments set up, no show on both. First was missed, then rescheduled. Second appointment missed - no-call, no show. With Sears, there is no longer a way to actually talk to a person. 100% do not recommend. Update: The review response gets you no where fast. Nothing but automated chat replies, no way to email a real person and virtual / AI phone conversation. Not the smartest company here. I need to talk to a real person.

I explained that the sensor was not working on the dryer and when a load did not dry, it was also put on "time" - after one hour, sheets STILL were not dry. This has been going on for some time. He cleaned the outside lint container, which is one foot from the dryer, through the wall, and said lint was the problem. I clean that trap weekly because it is right beside the front door. The dryer pipe had very, very little lint, the trap was only partially filled because I just tried to dry towels and sheets. No common sense was used by Gabriel. He said he had to follow policy. Find lint, say that is the problem, rather than determine the dryer does not have sufficient heat inside the drum.

At 8:00 the morning of scheduled service text and email from Sears Appliance Repair was that a technician would arrive between 8:10 and 9:00 AM and I would be updated if any delays occurred. Guess what time the tech arrived. 6:10 PM - apparently 10 hours is not a delay. Tech was professional and a long-awaited pleasure to work with.

this is really a 0 rating but it will not allow me to post less than a 1 this was the absolute worst experience I have ever had by a "professional" The technician Thomas M. essentially wanted to charge me over 300 dollars to tell me he wasn't able to fix the problem. I inform him that would be a diagnostic not a repair. He literally in the middle of my kitchen throws a temper tantrum saying the "higher ups" expects him to collect for a repair that never happened. He tried to get me to sign for an invoice sight unseen which would have been over 300 but good thing I refused until I received confirmation that I would only be paying the diagnostic fee. We went back and forth about that for a good 10 minutes. He complained that I upset him so much for not paying for a repair that he didn't do that he had to cancel the rest of his appointments for the day, mind you I don't know if that were true because why would he do that if money is the object for the company. Also, what a huge inconvenience to the other customers who were waiting for his arrival on that day, just because he became upset. I had waited close to 8 hrs. for a non-repair, I could only imagine how infuriating it would have been if I had gotten a no show/cancellation. You aren't able to get a live person on the phone to dispute the quote you are originally given or to voice your concerns about the unstable techs (Thomas M.) they send to your home. BEWARE, if I wasn't savvy and assertive I would have been taken advantage of in this situation.

Kyle, the Sears service technician was outstanding. He diagnosed the problem on the first visit and ordered the necessary four (4) parts to repair my microwave oven. The parts were mailed to my house but I didn't know when the last part would arrive and would it arrive prior to my second appointment date. I called the Customer Service telephone number to find out when the last part would arrive. The Customer Service Department (if you can really call it that) was TERRIBLE. I called, expecting to have a conversation with a LIVE person. Instead, all I got was an "A-I contact." I could never have a conversation with a live person which meant that I never got the answers I needed and the only solution provided to my problem, by the A-I was to schedule another appointment. Not a good solution at all!!! Based on my experience I will NEVER use sears (A & E) Services again!!! If you are willing to deal with a computer generated "technician" them you should use sears. I, for one, will NEVER use them again!!!

After waiting for 3 weeks for my appointment time to arrive and for Sears to show up between 8am and 5pm on July 21st to repair my washer, I received a text at 7:15pm that said due to unforeseen circumstances, the technician was not going to make the appointment. They wanted me to reschedule to the next available time that was August 18. The text was from an AI, but I engaged him anyways! After 15 minutes, AI fellow assured me my concern would me addressed with the appropriate team. At 5 am I received a text that stated I needed to reschedule my appointment. Expecting the same August 18th date, I opened the link to find a new date of July 23. Still 8am to 5pm. The technician did arrive at 4:15 and quickly installed the parts they had ordered for the washer. It's still a mystery to me why when you can't make a scheduled appointment, why aren't they first in line on the next day? I mean everyone gets the 8am to 5pm time frame, so putting the tail end of one day at the beginning of the next should not be an issue. And certainly shouldn't take a 1/2 hour complaint to an AI to get some kind of resolution. Sears really needs to examine their customer service policies and start thinking about their customers before they lose this part of their business too.

They didn’t repair the problem. Service tech refused to replace door gasket !!! Condensation still leaking in the floor. This is the third identical fridge I have had, never had this problem.
