Made appointment with a window from 8am - 1pm and found out after calling the Philippines call center that they weren’t going to make my appointment!!! Was disconnected multiple times and the issue still remains unresolved!!!

I called them in August because my washer was making a noise. They diagnosed it as faulty pump. Had to wait 3 weeks while they ordered the replacement pump and scheduled the repair. Luckily the machine still worked. After they repaired it the machine is doing the same thing. It was never the pump at issue, but rather something else. I called them out to look at it again, but was told it may not be part of their warranty and I'd have to pay for the service. So not only did they misdiagnose it, I'm supposed to pay for their mistake? Tech was supposed to show up this past Saturday, never showed up. Turns out he went to the wrong house and instead of calling just left a note on the door of the wrong house. Wasted my morning. This is also somehow my fault even though two separate previous techs found it ok. I called back to reschedule the appointment and the phone rep booked an appointment for a day I'm not home after I explained repeatedly I will not be home that day. My brain literally cannot deal with how bad their phone support/chat is. Stay away. I'm out $320 and my machine still has the exact same problem I called in AUGUST about.

I scheduled an appointment with Sears Home Services and the technician came out and diagnosed the problem and advised that I needed to contact LG to order the parts for the refrigerator. That was Aug. 3rd. More than two weeks later and I still have an inoperable refrigerator and no parts. LG claims not to allow parts to be sent to the customer’s home. Sears says that’s the only way it happens in this area. Countless hours on the phone and no assistance from Sears. The Sears tech claims that LG always gives customers the run around. If that’s the case, Sears should develop a process in concert with LG to get the parts to the customer in the Carolinas, not advertise that it’s authorized to make repairs on LG because it’s not (they are still required to get authorization which the tech refused to provide an email address and phone number for) or at least advise the customer before they make payment. I’m never going to recoup that fee I paid Sears because I’m unable to secure the parts as they directed and therefore, unlikely that they will make the repairs. No meaningful customer service at all. This is definitely not the Sears of yore.

I am torn with this review. The gentlemen that diagnosed the issue and repaired the issue were excellent. Every other part of the process was a nightmare. I was told two weeks to repair. A part never arrived so the timeline went to 5 weeks. You can't communicate with anyone other than their off shore customer service. Do not use this service.

Rodney was friendly and efficient but my overall experience was not good. Nobody came on the day my appointment was scheduled and nobody reached out to me to explain why. I had to call 10+ times to get any resolution. During that process, I was left on hold for 40 minutes, hung up on, waited to in vain speak to a manager and ended up having my appointment rescheduled. I feel as though my time was wasted and my business had been taken for granted. I’m not likely to recommend services to anyone else given this experience.

Sears Appliance Repair picked up a service request through my home warranty. It felt like a scam the entire process. Technician looked over/ignored the main issue causing my problem because he knew it wouldn’t be covered by my warranty company. Took my service fee and billed my warranty company for parts he knew wouldn’t fix the issue. After being called out a second time (because my issue was never resolved) the same technician choose to inform me that he knew the issue with my refrigerator would not be covered by my warranty company and told me I would need to get a new one. All which could have been said on his first visit. I asked if anything else could be done to buy me time on getting a new refrigerator and he pretty much told me yes, but he couldn’t do it. I don’t know if these actions from start to finish were because I was working with a warranty company but I feel as if I was ripped off of a service fee with the technician not being honest with me and willing to exhaust all measures before given up on my service request. I would not accept appointments with this company again, through my warranty or outside of it.

NEVER SHOWED UP!!! I have literally been waiting since August 17th for someone to show up and all they keep doing is changing dates and then never showing up! You CANNOT get in touch with them in any way shape or form! I feel like I’m being PUNKED!! Only company that is worse than them is Thor Kitchens!!
