Nicholas did a great job repairing our washing machine, and we really appreciated his expertise and professionalism. However, the overall experience with Sears Appliance Repair was disappointing. The time between the initial visit (February 18, 2025) when the part was ordered and the actual repair (March 18, 2025) was far too long. Fortunately, our washing machine was still functional, but if it hadn’t been, waiting an entire month would have been a major inconvenience. The appointments kept getting canceled and rescheduled, and one was even canceled on the same day—after we had waited all day for the technician. To be clear, this review is not a reflection of Nicholas, who did an excellent job. The issue lies with the scheduling and service delays from Sears Appliance Repair, which need significant improvement.

Nicholson is very knowledgeable of his work. Took about 52 days to get washer repaired, had to buy a new one to wash with. Needs to cut out his foul language with customers.

Matthew was nice and courteous. Found out we scheduled the appointment without warranty info, so had to pay for all. Plus need parts ordered and since appointment was not based on warranty, we have to schedule another appt with warranty to get the parts we need for a third appointment. Not Matthew's fault, but frustrating and delaying getting our washer fixed.

Water inlet valve was leaking. Part was delivered to my house within a couple of days. It took almost 2 weeks for another repairman to come out and install it.

Scott was great! He showed up three out of the five appointments I had to make. Two appointments were cancelled around 430 pm after I waited all day and his last visit the carburetor he ordered never shipped. But he was on top of it and made sure the second time he ordered it shipped direct to him so he could be sure it arrived on time. My biggest complaint is I had to take time off from work 5 times and I feel it's appropriate I be compensated for that. I mean I paid in full to have the parts ordered and the service fee on the first visit. After the second cancellation I called Sears Customer Service and the agent said I should talk to the tech, pretty sure Scott isn't in charge of that. This is bad customer service, especially when you cost customers money over and above the service they pay for.

Frustrating communication on the day of an appointment. Missed call, no message, then an automated text message that the appointment was rescheduled. Tried calling back, got stuck in an automated phone tree until I found one area that said they're closed. Huge waste of time. Update: The only way I could get in touch with a person was to cancel the appointment and call them back later, after posting this review. Called to try to resolve the issue, got transferred a few times, unable to get an appointment in the timeframe, lots of re-explaining and re-verifying my account. Added 2 stars for responsiveness to the review. Still only 3 stars for frustration and lack of anyone able to rectify the situation or offer any semblance of a reason (just the scripted responses to anything I said). Nice, but not helpful.

Repairman was fine, but after determining that we needed to replace the motor in our dishwasher he could not get a response from the warranty company to proceed with repair. A big waste of time!
