The technicians who came for 3 visits were good. However, the scheduling system was a problem. We were rescheduled numerous times, and it was nearly impossible to talk to a person. We cleared our schedule for 2 days in a row when no one came for the appointments that sears scheduled for us. Then we had to be available for a 3rd day. It was very inconvenient, requiring a family member to leave work to meet the technician. Numerous rescheduled appointments plus the inability to talk to a person left us very frustrated and unhappy with the service. Talking to an AI agent was not helpful in any way.

I have a GE washing machine and dryer. So far I have had 3 visits in the last 3 weeks to work on both. The washing machine is in worse shape than it was 3 weeks ago. The water runs continuously whether it is washing a load or not. I cannot speak for whether or not the dryer is fixed, because I cannot get enough water out of the clothes to be able to put them in the dryer

EDIT: The Sears bot responded with a canned response saying that this "isn't the service they aim to provide"...well, it clearly is as you can see with a little scroll of other reviews just like mine. The bot did leave a number to call. Unless they can give me my time back I don't see the point in calling- probably not a human on the other end, anyway. TLDR: Technician was great, the company is awful. The "arrival window" given is 8am-5pm. I uploaded all of the information asked for (videos, serial numbers, everything) but Sears didn't share it at all with the technician who came. He ordered the part and we set a follow up appt. The part came, but they no-showed for the follow up. Again, the window I was expected to wait was 8 am - 5 pm. There is no way to call or text with a human, just an AI bot. All the AI bot would say was "your appt is today!", up until 5:01 when it switched to saying "Let's reschedule your appt!" I rescheduled with the bot. Again, an 8-5 window. The technician came at 3:45 (the bot claims you can track his arrival throughout the day- this was true 1 of 3 times) and fixed it in 10 minutes. In total, I waited at my house nearly 20 hours for this service. The technician was great, the service is terrible and I would never voluntarily use it (I was forced to due to it being the contracted partner of a home repair warranty).

Scheduled 3 days in advance for Monday 8am-5pm. Update said technician would arrive between 10-11am and they would call if delayed. They never called. At 4:30pm I got an update that the technician would arrive between 4:30-5:30pm. Then at 4:50pm I was rescheduled for two days from today. Not acceptable Edit: as I discovered in trying to find out where my technician was yesterday, this is an AI only company and there are no live agents available. So where you see the owner response below just know I did try to contact them and there was NO WAY TO DO SO

Technician was on time and pleasant. However, his diagnosis was that my dryer had a bad thermal fuse. The part costs about $11.00. Sears wanted over $350.00 to replace it. I purchased the part recommended by the technician and replaced it in 15 min. Dryer still does not work. Tried to contact Sears, but you cannot talk to a person, just an AI “representative.” NOT a satisfied customer.

AI helped me made appointment for my dryer. AI asked many questions about my dryer. AI texted me every day asking me to confirm the 8 am to 5 pm appointment. Then AI cancelled appt at 4.30 pm. No way to reschedule because “they” no longer have my information. No explaination. I could start it all over again but, nah — I’m done.

Technician was fine, he told me part needed (controller board) was no longer available through sears. I had told them model number of appliance and I thought the controller board was the issue. Why he couldn’t look up the p/n before he came is beyond me and now they want the payment which was totally wasted money.

We have had an outstanding service request for approximately 6 weeks to have our dishwasher fixed. First guy shows up a week after we requested service, does not open the dishwasher and complains about his job the entire 45 minutes he is in our home and orders the wrong part (which we don’t know for a month). When the next guy comes out to fix the dishwasher, he realized the incorrect part was ordered and orders the correct part (hopefully). Now we are to today which is another 2 weeks down the road and sears decides to cancel the appt the day of with no explanation and it will be another week before they can come back out. I have had to take off work 3 days already for this and going to have to take off another day now at this point since their service window is 8-5 and they apparently can’t even keep that given they cancel day of. Great service!
