Stacy was great at installing pump but now dryer is not working. Not sure if something he did as it worked prior to pump repair.

The 3 stars is for Stacy my technician. He was wonderful. However, Sear Appliance Repair ONLY uses BOTs to communicate with its customers. I tried in vain for 2 days to let them know they had the incorrect address—with no luck. They have their communications sealed down tight—you absolutely can NOT speak to a human. This is terrible. The bot to chat with: one can only ask one of 5 pre-selected questions—none of which matched my issue which was incorrect address. I am going to give them the same review on the BBB: TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! It is not the technicians fault—please don’t blame them. Anyway, if you want to work with someone you can actually speak too if there is an issue: DON’T USE SEARS APPLIANCE REPAIR!!!!! PERIOD!

Please do not waste your time; I had a scheduled appointment which was canceled at 1 o’clock after I stayed home all day. Subsequently, they provided me with rescheduling options approximately two weeks in advance. I attempted to contact a representative, but the message indicated that a live agent was not available. The company claims to be located in Lake Ozark; however, my assumption is that they simply assign contractors to work in the area periodically, possibly only once every two weeks. I plan to find a local company with a verifiable business address in Lake Ozark.

Customer service on the phone was excellent. Got a text that my technician was on their way. Tell minutes later, it said nobody was home. I have cameras and was home and the technician never showed. Worse, there is absolutely no way to contact the technician or a representative to discuss it, it is all automated. Very frustrating.

The service technician was great, however the Sears experience is NEVER AGAIN. Good luck speaking to anything other than AI, that got my name and contact info completely wrong. I had a service call for my trash compactor on 11/18/25. I paid electronically in full for that diagnostic call and the repair part on 11/19/25. That order was cancelled 12/5/25 due to their AI system totally screwing up my name and other contact info. It wasn't until I called back after the technician didn't show back up for the scheduled repair on 12/23/25 that I found out, yet Sears still had my money. The service order was reinstated after I finally talked to a lie person, corrected all of my information, yet they still address me by the wrong name. My trash compactor was finally repaired on 1/20/26. Now I'm fighting Sears because I overpaid on the first service call.

I was told my diagnostic fee would be taken off the repair of i choose to have it repaired. I was told by the technician that it cannot be repaired but still have to pay the fee. Additionally, the information that it cannot be repaired could have been discovered on the phone but then you wouldn't be able to charge me. Sears has become a criminal enterprise. I will be consulting with a lawyer.

I followed the directions to the Sears repair center in an effort to find a part for my Kenmore refrigerator. I live about 20 minutes from that location and upon arriving there apparently the store no longer exists. At that address/location is the new Harbor Freight store. Upon calling the store I got a answering service that sent me to another parts center that was also closed.

This has been a nightmare. I have used Sears for years and never had an issue. I was overcharged from my account before the repair even started based off of the estimate. They only needed one of 3 parts ordered and the technician took 2 of 3 back for a credit. I have received no paperwork, they say the service ticket is not closed when the service was finished on May 6th. I have spent over 3 hours with sears customer service over 2 more phone calls after the service was completed, they are having my issue "escalated" and still have no money returned, no receipts or confirmations of a bill and they have my money. Escalated twice now with NO answers from anyone.....I'm at a loss here......I'll buy a new appliance before I go through this again. Pat Blake
