I scheduled a repair of my ice maker through my home warranty company. Sears was assigned and they asked me to send a photo of the model label inside my refrigerator so that they could have the part on hand in the event it needed to be replaced. They even stated they do this so the technician won't have to make two trips to complete the repair. I'm given an EIGHT HOUR window, so I have to take the day off. The technician arrives, sees the ice maker isn't working, then simply takes a photo of the label, tells me he has to order the replacement part and the next available appointment to install it is in ELEVEN days with another EIGHT HOUR window! I call customer service for both Sears and my home warranty and get routed to overseas call centers where the representatives simply say, "Sorry." Absolutely unacceptable.

Stay away. Repairman did not call or text before coming over. My office is very close to my house so plenty of time for me to head home. Frustrating. He wasn’t rude or anything - but please respect my time and do what you say you’re going to do. Quote took ~10 minutes and with tax was over $140. Seems slightly criminal? Quote to repair a 2017 Kenmore Elite refrigerator was $1,150 (linear processor+ couple of other items). Of course it wouldn’t make sense to proceed with this. Kenmore has a linear processor covered under warranty, not sure how this isn’t like a $300 labor repair? And Sears sold us their own faulty product. Overall, I would strongly recommend to avoid this place - go with a different reputable local company or buy the high end/expensive, reliable refrigerator. This place is both a waste of your time and money.

I am very upset with this company! I had an appointment for a tech to come to my house and repair my oven and no one ever showed or called me I just received a text that prompted me to reschedule my appointment that was a week out after already waiting a week for the first appointment ! I called to see if they could get someone out sooner and was repeatedly told sorry but the system won’t allow me to schedule sooner. I asked if they could have a tech reach out and was told yes yet still never received a call from anyone!

Set appointment on Monday for appliance repair on Tuesday morning. Late Tuesday morning got a text from Sears saying they couldn't come and reset apps for Thursday morning. On Thursday, the technician (Christopher H.) Changed his sked and by late afternoon he still had not arrived. After contacting Sears and discovering the technician had changed his schedule himself with no notification to me, he wasn't coming til after 4pm THEN, close to 5pm, he texted saying he had knocked on my door and no one answered. I was sitting in a chair right in front on the glass front door and I guarantee he never came to my door. He showed a pic of something that was definitely not my house. Food going bad in the refrigerator needing repair as well as 2 totally wasted days staying at home waiting for the technician who NEVER came. I will never use Sears Home Services again !!!!

Our first service was scheduled for the 10th of December it got rescheduled after my wife took whole day off work then gets scheduled for 19th again 9 hour window which is horrible but was told I would get 30 min notice to get there i had someone there 20 mins after i was told my tech was on his way and he showed up early and then left before we got there you don't give a number so we can contact anyone with issues and all in all this service sucks and my dryer still isn't fixed

Refrigerator parts were replaced. However, the Refrigerator hasn't worked since repair man left my house. Tried unplugging it. But after plugged back in, it still doesn't work. Dissatisfied and unhappy.

I got a call the last minute that they don't work on the kind of refrigerator I have and I waited over 43 days for my scheduled appointment and submitted all the information ahead of time

The repairment replaced a part, it started to work, but as soon as he left our home, the refrigerator failed, and the temperature was worse than before he came and made that repair. We are very disappointed, and minus a lot of food... I called the repairman after he left within 5 to 10 minutes and he said they was nothing the could do. And I'd have to call and schedule another appointment. That means I'd be without refrigeration for at least 15 days or more... Great solution to our problem... He just left our property. Within minutes, yet he could not come back, when clearly he should've waited longer to see if the repair held up... Disappointed.
