Royce installed ok. This appliance was only 5 months old. The part took way too long to arrive - 2+ weeks. We were without a refrigerator for over 5 weeks. Keeping our medications cool was a real problem! No offer to help us out (give us a loaner/exchange for a new one/offer any solutions to the problem). Not satisfied with the product or the service.

My washing machine broke on a Saturday. I called to arrange for repair and was scheduled for Monday between 1-5 pm. They notified me that they were unable to come at 6pm. I rescheduled for the next appointment, Thursday, in the morning before 1pm. They called to cancel at 1:40. Needless to say I hired someone else.

Jeff provided some valuable information in operating our washing machine since we didn't buy new and it was in the house when we moved in. HOWEVER, I would not have him out again for several reasons. (1) He was extremely condescending and offensive in how he spoke to us, making judgements about the extra clothes hanging next to the washing machine and how dirty the washer was, (2) the information shared should have taken max 10 minutes and instead, because of his theatrics, took up almost an hour of my time, (3) he "teased" the estimate to replace the boot seal for over 30 minutes, not giving us the $ until he had finished trying to impress us with his vast washing machine knowledge. The visit should have gone like this: (1) ask us a few questions - anything wrong with the washer? (2) explaining to us that the replacement boot would cost $400+ (3) asking us if we'd like him to run an overall diagnostic on the machine and if we'd like some tips on improving our washing machine operation (4) SKIP judgement about the condition of my laundry room or my washer (just saying to us that by keeping a few key areas of the washer cleaned after each load and changing to powder laundry soap is the key) - NO need to drone on about where to buy soap - stick to "name brand HE powder" Jeff told us he's been in this role/business doing this work for over 39 years so I'm guessing this feedback will not change his behavior. PLEASE PUT A NOTE IN OUR CUSTOMER RECORD that should we need a future repair quote I DO NOT WANT Jeff to be sent out.

Absolutely horrible and painful process start to finish. The technician failed to tell us that we needed to call to alert them we received the part so our pre-scheduled follow up appointment was automatically cancelled with no information. This extended the time that our appliance was out of use by a week. When they did come back (after we called Customer Service) the tech realized he ordered the wrong part and would have to come back yet again. Zero accountability or understanding that these were avoidable delays. It would have been an easy and quick fix if it were not for a careless technician.

Sears Home Service was scheduled to repair my dryer and initially set an appointment for Wednesday between 8 AM and 5 PM. However, at 1 PM that day, I was notified that the appointment was canceled and rescheduled for Thursday. The same thing happened again on Thursday, and then again on Friday. When I finally managed to secure a Monday appointment, the technician arrived an hour late. Upon arriving, he briefly looked at the dryer (I had already removed the cover to give them easier access to the motor) and claimed they couldn’t service it. Then, without resolving the issue, he left. To make matters worse, I later received an email with a form showing “my signature” agreeing to his inability to service the dryer. I never signed anything—the technician forged my signature. This is completely unacceptable and a serious breach of trust and professionalism.

Don't bother with having them service your HVAC. They are in bed with Cinch Home Warranty, so good luck getting a real fix.

Called looking for a part, the person was very pushy, said only they sell the part and I wouldn't find it anywhere else. I had already found it elsewhere for less and next day shipping. I was just looking for another option.
