David was great. Sears needs to work on scheduling better. Why can’t service windows be 3 hours instead of 8 hours! Wasted a whole day waiting.

Chuck was fine, but the prices are ridiculous. They wanted to charge me $800+ for parts and labor to fix a washing machine that cost me under $600. I got the part for $250 less than they were going to charge and installed it myself. I give Chuck 5 stars and Sears Appliance Repair zero stars.

I was stunned when the service technician told me that I owed $386! When I called I was informed of a $149 service call fee, which would be applied to the cost of the repair. My Series 8 Kenmore gas dryer needed a fuse. When I Google 'd the cost of the part, it was $14,95! When I objected to the price, he informed me that there was a $300/hr labor charge plus he needed to get paid for stocking the part in his truck, & the company made money from the labor! This was a bait & switch swindle! The cost of the repair was hidden to me as a customer and then sprung on me at the last minute!

The actual company that came was fine. The service tech was great. But using Sears as a 3rd party go between was terrible! Ai garbage. Horrible communication. Huge unnecessary mark-up. JUST CALL YOUR LOCAL REPAIR PLACE.

Came over a fixed my issue but looking at prices they are pretty high. on the high end for the replacement part needed and charged $300 labor fee for about 45 minutes of work. I would go with someone else going forward

Very very difficult getting an appointment. They are only concerned with Getting their $149 diagnostic fee and signing you up for the warranty package . I declined the service, not confident in the technician. The price to fix was more than buying a new washing machine . And my machine was in great working condition , but would not drain . The technician didn’t have any parts on the truck and did not wear bootie's in my house . He did take my check for $149 and scanned it in right on the spot. Totally not happy at all with Sears Appliance repair. I didn’t get anything for my money .
