Not a great experience. Tech no-showed to first appointment and I simply received an automated text AFTER he was supposed to the be there saying the appointment would need to be rescheduled. The phone number is outrageously infuriating. Zero ability to talk to an actual human and none of the options seemed to describe my situation. I added notes to the appointment (because I couldn’t talk to anyone) and my tech said “I have no idea what you are talking about….I never see the notes.” If you can’t talk to a human and tech doesn’t see the notes, how are we supposed to communicate details? Also, the 8-5 appointment window is crazy. Who has a full day to sit around for a tech who may not even show? After all that, someone had the audacity to call and ask if I wanted to buy a home warranty from the same company that put me through this!!

First let me say Steven was fantastic as our service technician. But, oh my gosh, LG and Sears together made for the very worst customer service experience in my 59 years on earth. It is now the the end of the first week of August 2025. Our dryer has been out since the end of June. LG made me jump through stupid hoops to get them to even have a service technician come out and fix my dryer under warranty. Sears Home Services canceled twice (after I had taken two vacation days off work to accommodate their 8-5 arrival time) with no warning. Add to this that there is no human at SHS to even speak with. They are horrible. You notice that there is not even a way to give Sears Home Services one star without casting aspersion on Stephen? He gets five stars, Sears and LG get zero stars.

They have you make appointments & then THEY cancel them & have you make another. That's after you get no call, No show. You have to pay for intire repair before they even order the part. I payed total $390.86 for a plugged valve. They shipped the part to me from Amazon it was $25.00. So I payed $365.86 for clogged valve. Used the very next day, still does wash cycle & then quits🤷‍♀️. I really don't think clogged valve was the problem, but I'm just a 70 year olè lady living on social security only. What am I supposed to do. I can't afford to call them back ~ shame on them🥺!

If I could give zero stars, I would. Which is a shame, because the technician, himself, was a kind gentleman who worked promptly and courteously once he arrived (outside of the time window, however). What I'm not ok with is THE FRAUDULENT CHARGE that has appeared on my account from this company. I've tried to get through to a representative twice this morning and TWICE I was disconnected by your system. I've had to contact my banking institution. Which means a tedious hassle on top of being on an extremely tight budget. This nearly wiped out my main account. At this point, I will be sure to never use your services in the future, or recommend them.
