Technician was friendly and fixed the fridge. I don't like that when scheduling and figuring out appointments, there isn't a way to talk to a person, because the AI prompts are very limited. I had to have a diagnostic appointment before they would order any parts, even though I have a smart fridge that told me the part that was broken, so that appointment was July 1. Next available appointment with the parts is July 10. I need to unplug my fridge for 48 hours, and had to throw away a lot of food. Whatever computer they were using ordered the wrong part. So we had to return and order the correct new part, which was over $100 more expensive. Next appointment was today, July 15. The website said to expect the tech between 9:30 and 11:30AM. At 3PM, I'm trying to call, contact through the website, etc, and there is no human I can contact to ask what is going on and if anyone is coming today. The AI chat bot only tells me I should expect the tech sometime this morning, not acknowledging that it is 4 hours past the widow. Finally I sent a text to the number the last tech was texting from. Thankfully he responded that he was the one on this assignment again, and with an actual ETA. I'm glad my fridge is fixed, and the technician was helpful, but I probably won't hire Sears again because the website and automation was so frustrating to work with.

I had to buy a new washer, even tho repaired man said could find nothing wrong. Said I might need new computer later......washer was no better after he left......

While the technician was amazing and did a thorough job explaining the problem and fixing the issue, my appointment was changed twice. Once without my knowledge and the second time, I waited all day before I received a text from Sears saying I was rescheduled. It took almost 2 months to have my fridge fixed. The parts were at my house when the first appointment was changed without any input from me. When I called, I was told too bad and there is nothing they can do because my original appointment 12/31 was already taken.

Another appliance company reassembled bottom freezer bin so that rod would stay in place. Felt overcharged for what was done given no parts required replacing.

Was there less than 10 minutes and determined it was the igniter. Less than $100 part with more than $300 labor? Seems a bit pricey to pay over $400 plus the $129 diagnostics fee (again less than 10 minutes). Could get a new one for less than 700.

Get rid of your AI ! Repairperson was good , but your organizing is terrible . There should be a way to contact a human when there is a screw-up . I won't be using Sears again for any repairs .

This is a scammy repair service. The guy came a half hour before the end of my “window” and said he couldn’t complete service because it would take over 35 minutes for him to do. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I now have a new appointment scheduled and there is no way to speak to anyone about it. The whole system is automated. 👎🏻 ***UPDATE*** They canceled on me again. The service technician said the company is run by AI Total Scam. And I’ve already paid a deposit.
