Technician was knowledgeable, courteous, clean and efficient. My problem is with Sears' method for scheduling and keeping customer informed. In first visit to diagnose the technician informed me he would return on a specific date. Parts were received in mail, promised date came and went, no technician. I was later informed the scheduling system is automated and will override the date promised by the technician. In this case I was not kept informed of the change in promised schedule. Sears needs to modify system to give customers URL so they may keep informed on status of schedule.

I ended up calling a local business to get my service appointment scheduled. After messing around with their AI for about five minutes, I read some of the reviews listed below. Sears actually listed a phone number for you to call with one of the people who left one star. I tried calling that and I still got AI. I always thought that sears was maybe half a notch above Kmart, but I stand corrected. They were literally the two worst retailers, then and sears appliance repair seems every bit of shady as sears was before they went out of business.

We tried to call these people all day and could not get thru their endless phone tree. They only have an AI voice that sets up appointments. No way to talk to a person! Stay away from SEARS. no wonder they went out of business in most of the country.

I don't recommend Sears Repair to anyone, it took four months to fix my range and I had to have my uncle finally fix my range. They are a scam!
