Had a repair person come out to repair nothing and have the same issue.. No follow-up.

I had originally scheduled a refrigerator repair a month ago. Sears cancelled my original appointment and rescheduled me for 5/13. The repairman, Jake, arrived 2 hrs. late for today's appointment. Jake was not the problem..he was polite and professional and did fix my ice maker issue. This rating has nothing to do with Jake personally or the repair. Sears...you need to up your game when it comes to customer service and scheduling snafus. This is a brand new Frigidaire refrigerator that already needed a repair !!

His 2nd time out to fix dishwasher he miss diagnosed the problem the 1st time, so now I’ve spent $280.00 and still no working dishwasher, I should have not had to pay for a second service call. 1st time he diagnosed a bad latch and said the control board was fine, so I replaced the latch, that did not solve the not starting problem, now he is saying it’s the control board. Unsatisfactory to say the least, I will not be using Sears any longer. And the bonus is there is no human to speak with, just AI.

Dennis was great however your prices are ridiculous. 30 dollar part oem u tried charging 170 plus 300 labor to put in????. Literally a 30 second job. . Not paying 750 dollars for a 100 dollar repair.

Complete rip off....I can't believe this is legal. The tech showed up without any parts (none.... so he said) despite knowing the product and problem. They stole the visit charge when demanding $100 for a $35 part (from Amazon) and $500 for a fix literally requiring the removal and replacement of 12 screws... (Yes.....$600 for a $35 part and ten minutes of labor time).) The tech's last words: "I hate when the company gouges customers" I'm calling the state's attorney general.... this can't be legal....spend your money elsewhere Sears has responded after my review posted and suggested i call their automated phone number for help with my problem. Unfortunately, the automated system (and AI virtual assistant) couldn't grasp the problem. The number is only for scheduling/canceling service. Never got to a person and never got any help for the problem.... exactly what I expect from from this merchant. This used to be a reliable company part of the fabric of America.... but now it's just a criminal ripoff ring..... DON'T DO BUSINESS HERE AS YOU WILL REGRET IT
