Two appointments in a row the technician failed to show up and rescheduled after the window had already lapsed. To add to the frustration there is no number you can call and no online chat option where you can talk to a human, so I have no way of knowing if or when the technician will ever show up. Go anywhere else, this place is worse than worthless.

It’s taken 5weeks for our refrigerator to be repaired!once you canceled extending to another week! Than when a tec cam the third time to diagnose the problem and left another one arrived like two hours later? Something’s wrong with your dispatching of tecs. The tec that diagnosed doubled the order so I got two chip boards and two sending units?? Today the day after the job is complete I get another notice from you that my service time has expired. Plus you have no way to have a voice communication not all prompts on your recording are what the problem! Your system is deeply flawed!

This has been a completely horrible experience working with Sears and their Master Plan Agreement. Buyer beware--DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. We have now been struggling with a lemon of a fridge for the past 5+ years. It has frozen up regularly, sometimes 3 times a year, and our family has then lost food and had to go through the pain of setting up an appointment, awaiting technician, and having technician come to replace the same part over and over (only to have it break down a couple months later), then filing a claim for food reimbursement, etc. This process is not easy--it requires navigating an AI labyrinth to even speak to anyone (who often says they are the wrong department and have no authority to help you). Eventually our technician attempted to replace another part--compressor--only to have the replacement part not work and our fridge be completely out of service. At that point we were told that we'd have to wait a week for next service--basically leaving my family without a fridge and all our food spoiled. Calling the food reimbursement hotline (good luck--their phone service is almost all AI driven so it's almost impossible to speak to anyone) eventually I spoke to a human who they said that since we'd already had this happen once previously they would not reimburse us for our food loss. So, after so many years of this awful service I finally attempted to seek replacement--which is in the supposed contract. I have now spent over 6+ hours across multiple days attempting to have the lemon fridge replaced--only to be told that NO ONE at Sears has the authority to authorize this without sending the same technician back to look at it. Etc. etc. I am beyond frustrated and upset with Sears. They are clearly not a good company anymore--get your appliances anywhere other than this place. While the technicians are certainly friendly and knowledgeable enough (it's not their fault their bosses/the company sucks) they have no power to help. In fact, I heard a manager yelling at a service technician during the last visit. It is just an awful company that has taken a nosedive. Horrible experience, will never be buying anything from Sears again. Have reported them to BBB and will be seeking CEO to write a formal letter of complaint.

I was very disappointed. Did not receive the service I have come to expect from Sears and their reputation. The technician was very difficult to understand, Ask me many questions that I thought he should be.knowing He seemed to not know what he was doing, and I am lacking confidence. That's when I use my dishwasher later tonight. I'm afraid it may not work.. At one point, he asked me if I still had the manual for my LG dishwasher. He was not familiar with the code ae He pulled the dishwasher out, and after he laughed left, the cord was shorter. To me, it appeared that it is stuck in the dishwasher. Never did tell me what she found,. Left me no report just said it should be working now. You shouldn't have anymore water on your floor.. I Will be running the dishwasher later. Hope it has been fixed. I have no confidence in the service I received this afternoon. If you have questions, feel free to call me. I might be able to give a better assessment after I find out if it's been finished Have received no bill, I have been without any dishwasher for almost 3 whole weeks It is still covered under warranty, so I do not plan on being billed As for the cost, I do not know it was purchased by the previous land owner I just bought the unit and moved in June 29 of this year This is the second technician I've had come out I did not have a pleasant experience calling the one 800 number for LG that I found in my manual I am sure you will not put this one on Google To clarify, the technician did not arrive in a Sears truck It read a A and E NE services or something like that

I was charged more than I think may be reasonable for a washer repair. I was not given the opportunity to sign an estimate. I saw later that one was sent to my email and the signature area was crossed out by the technician. Therefore I did not approve the estimate in writing. The bill itself was not itemized and just named the piece of equipment and said repair and gave the charge amount. I had purchased the repair parts in advance so should not have been charged for these. I called the company to inquire and they say that there is no standard amount for any work and the technician makes the decision. They said there is no hourly labor charge. However, when he was at my house he looked something up and told me what the standard charge was for this work and said he was able to bill it a little bit differently to lower it. He had been looking at some sort of a list. I asked how I was to question the appropriateness of the charge by the technician if the answer was simply that the technician is always right. They had no answer. I asked for a supervisor and was transferred to another department who told me they would send me a receipt for the work. I looked at the receipt and it again simply listed the piece of equipment and not the work that was done. They said it was for labor and materials. I had the materials in advance so should not have been charged for them, and could tell if there was a charge for the materials or not. They said they would send me a more itemized and detailed receipt and I never received it. Do not use them. I feel like this is a scam. I think I was way overcharged based on what I later saw online. I have no recourse at this point other than to spend a lot of time making formal charges against the company. Do not trust them.

I would give them zero stars if I could. When you call you can't speak to anyone, only AI. They sent a tech to diagnose who seemed very competent and told me it would be around $1000 to fix the broken evaporator in my six year old Whirlpool. Considering it was a high end ~$3500 fridge I agreed and he ordered the parts. Parts were shipped to me direct and the repair was scheduled two weeks out. Parts arrived within three days so I called to reschedule. Once again I could not talk to anyone so it tried to dispatch a tech that day for another basic service call. Thankfully the tech called and discussed that he would not have time for the repair that day because they do not allow overtime and it's a long job. He promised someone would be out the next day between 8am and 4pm, nobody showed up and nobody called. I attempted to call the AI line again and got nowhere, the system then texted me they had to reschedule for the following Monday. Tech finally shows up Monday looks at the parts and tells me the first tech diagnosed wrong, it's the upper evaporator not the lower and I probably need a compressor as well. This pushed the price to $1600+ and would require another order and waiting period. I declined since it's probably not worth it and they had already wasted 10 days messing around with the first incorrect diagnosis. Tech said he put a refund in for the initial $1000 repair, its' been over two weeks and still hasn't processed. I asked for his managers number so I could request a refund on the diagnosis fee of $149, due to them wasting my time and ultimately being wrong. He stated he was not allowed to give that out and would not call his manager for me. I was provided another phone number to a call center, call center said all they could do was give me an email for the billing department. It's been two weeks and nobody has responded at that email. I'm going to call my credit card about fraud at this point since you cannot get a hold of anyone at this company, likely by design. This company is embarrassingly bad, they deserve to go out of business. Use a local small business instead Update-Almost two months later still no refund. No contact from anyone, just the reply to this review giving me an email. Second update-Finally refunded the repair cost minus the diagnostic fee. Even though they diagnosed the problem wrong and held my money hostage for two months they will not refund the $139. DO NOT USE THESE SCAM ARTISTS.

Dennis was great. He understood the problem but did not have any parts that worked. He did not have the kit because he was not informed of the problem even though we carefully told the booking person. I would NEVER use Sears again. Worst service call fee I ever paid. I ordered the kit and did it myself. I tried to call but just got more automated run around! You are the worst!

The technician came to replace the plastic window insert on our crisper drawer and I’m just now realizing he taped it in place instead of gluing it like the last one. Unacceptable!!
