The Technician, Tony was very helpful and informed me about what caused the excessive gas odor in my house and corrected it. I was very appreciative that Sears was able to send someone to my house on the same day to fix such a major issue. Thank you!!

March 2017 My washer had been failing to spin properly at least one or two loads every washday. The first time I called, the consultant suggested flipping off the circuit breaker and back on. That worked just once. This last time, I requested repair service and got someone who immediately identified the problem: the brake. When the first spinning would stop, the brake would stick and the tub would drain but not spin again. New brake, problem solved. And the technician was a few minutes early! July 2016 The technician came to check the washer and dryer as part of the warranty plan. When the dispatcher called to say he was on the way, she asked if there were problems and I mentioned some occasional problems with both appliances. She tried to get me to cancel and change it to a repair, but I declined. The tech was great, checked everything and gave me some good advice: I have used Glisten in the dishwasher for years, but no one ever told me it was available for washers. )I have noticed over the years that every tech offers different suggestions, and often the tip is news to me. A training issue, maybe? Wondering why they don't say the same thing.) February 2018 Our microwave started humming even when not in use. The technician ordered four parts, and when they came, we called for the appointment. The same person came and fixed it easily. We love Sears. (My only complaint is that we had an "8 to 12" window, and when no one had arrived by 12, I called 1-800-4MY HOME and the recording announced our window had been moved to 12:30-2:30. NO ONE let us know... and we had afternoon plans.)
