My Kenmore (actually, an LG) Elite refrigerator had a bad compressor after just 3 years of use. So while I'm very unhappy with how quickly it failed (and the labor is not covered under the manufacturer's warranty, only the parts), the service was very good. The repair tech knew exactly what to do, explained the likely cause of the problem, and luckily for me had the part. Otherwise, I would have had to wait at least two more weeks for the part to be shipped, and because so many of these refrigerators have recently been failing, Sears has a 3 to 4 week backlog on when a qualified tech can come out. The backlog is why I didn't give them four stars, since my refrigerator was down for three weeks.
