My experience with Sear's Home Services attempts to fix my malfunctioning dryer has been deeply disappointing. Despite multiple technician visits and numerous part replacements, my dryer still isn't working properly. Each time a technician comes, they offer a different diagnosis and replace more parts, but the problem persists. The latest technician's incompetence was especially frustrating. Despite finding my clothes still damp after a cycle, he insisted the dryer was fine. When I presented evidence to the contrary, he had no response. It's clear these technicians lack the expertise to fix the issue and simply waste time switching parts without addressing the root cause. Moreover, the last technician's dismissive attitude when confronted with evidence of the ongoing malfunction was unacceptable. He even submitted a form claiming I accepted the services provided, which I never signed, forging my signature instead. Overall, I'm thoroughly dissatisfied with this company's service. Their inability to fix my dryer and their technicians' lack of accountability have eroded any trust I had in them. I strongly advise others to avoid this company unless they enjoy endless frustration and unresolved issues.

My home warranty scheduled this company to come on April 23, 2024. Unfortunately they NEVER showed or NEVER contacted me. Very disappointed with.

I've had issues with this company every time my warranty company sends them out. I have been rescheduled about 5 times since February for a washer repair. Most of the time they were a no show. They didn't even value my time enough to call, email or text to say they were not coming. They would push back the time constantly until they were done for the day. I definitely would not recommend them to anyone. I am considering changing my home warranty company if this is the only repair company they will send. My last appt was scheduled for April 19th. I still haven't heard from them. Totally unacceptable and unprofessional.

They sent someone to do diagnose, and they charged me for $380.00 After charging me, I had no receipt, and no diagnosis summary did not fix the problem, and they didn't tell me what the problem my refrigerator and my dryer had is like a scam. I called Sears, and they pulled me on hold for 1 hour and 25 minutes to get to the customer service

This is the most inept company I've ever dealt with. You can not get in touch with anyone over the phone, via email or chat box. I had an appointment that no one showed up for and when I called they said their system was doing a "reset" so I would have to call back in a day or so and reschedule then. I tried again a few days later calling a bunch of random numbers and hitting random number combinations until I finally got someone on the phone. They again told me the same thing DAYS later that they couldn't reschedule me or why the technician never came out. I was unable to reschedule my appointment online because they still haven't updated their system to say I've received the parts they ordered weeks ago so I made a new "fake" appointment just to get them to come out. They again today, no show and no call. So, I have to call a different department to just get transferred to their repair system people to be able to speak to a person and not get stuck in and endless automated system that is helpless. So they say he's still coming and they'll call me back about it...surprise....they didn't. So I call again and now they say they'll be in touch in 48 hours and I explained I won't get off the phone until we reschedule this right now and the person I spoke to was stuck in some automated response loop of " we will escalate this for you and be in touch".....can't even reschedule my appointment. I've never dealt with such dysfunction like it's actually insane. I'm currently just consistently being disconnected whenever I call. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! MANY REVIEWS JUST LIKE MINE SAY THE EXACT SAME THINGS!!! THIS BUSINESS IS A SHAM!!

You are wasting your time with them! They would cancel your appointment with no reasons given. Phone representative will not provide any explanation or resolution. All they do is to transfer you out of their line and have you stay on hold for 25 minute...I would give zero star if I could.

I would give zero stars if possible. IMPOSSIBLE to speak with a human which is a problem if you have a complicated repair. My repair requires two technicians because the oven has to be pulled out of the wall. Due to what I can only assume is utter and complete incompetence Sears has failed twice to send two techs even though the order clearly states two techs are required. And because I can not get to a human to confirm two techs will be sent. And to add insult to injury, the tech who has shown up insists it is not his problem, that I have to call to resolve the issue. Call who??? The automated bot? DO NOT PURCHASE A WARRANTY THROUGH THIS COMPANY. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NON-EXISTENT

TL;DR- do NOT schedule appointments with Sears Home Services. They will reschedule you constantly and there is no way to talk to a human to find out why or get an acceptable solution. I scheduled an appointment for 3/4 for Sears Home Services to fix my leaky dishwasher. It's now 3/12, and I've had 4 appointments rescheduled-- all with bogus reasons given by the technicians ("no one answered" when I was home and available all day; "couldn't find parking" when no one called to verify where parking for my building is; "technician was overbooked" when I was listed in their online portal as the next service stop). The real kicker is that when you try to call them to get more information, if your phone number is associated with an active order, you just get put through a menu loop with the same 6 options without ever having the opportunity to talk to a person. The same thing happens if you use their online chat-- the only way I was able to actually chat with a person was by putting in my husband's phone number, which wasn't associated with the order. Even when you do talk to a human via chat, though, they're useless. Each rep I talked to (and I chatted with them after every rescheduled appointment) said they weren't in charge of scheduling and couldn't add me to the top of the next day's service list but that "my experience wasn't the norm and wouldn't be repeated" (and yet... it's been repeated 4 times so far!). I'm a renter and have little autonomy over who services my appliances, but if/when I do have the choice, I will NEVER use this service again. Edited to add response to owner: 1- I don't have a facebook account, so that gets me no closer to solving this problem. Any other means of contacting you (other than the chat function on your website that I've already used 4 times with no solution)? 2- The fact that your suggestion is to go to a facebook group to leave a complaint instead of the website linked to your account is super sketchy. Why on earth would an unofficial facebook group be more efficient than your actual website? And how are other folks experiencing issues supposed to know about this facebook group to get their problems fixed without leaving you a public 1 star review? For others who might be reading this review-- the fact that their official method of recourse is to visit their FACEBOOK page and not their official website (see owner response below) should be a red flag!
