The service technician was excellent. He successfully repaired my washing machine after two unsuccessful attempts by a previous technician. However, my main concern with Sears is the excessively long service window of 7am to 6pm. I waited the entire day, only to receive an email after 7pm stating the technician had been delayed and would not be arriving. This lack of timely communication was disappointing and felt like poor customer service. To make matters worse, when I tried to contact customer support, I was only met with an automated system and couldn't speak to a representative.

Everything was good. Only negative is I am given a window of 9-5pm but I am always one of the last on the schedule. This time tech was delayed til after 6pm. A person wastes a whole day waiting and tracking. Can't you schedule appointments with shorter windows? Morning, afternoon or evening?

Workmanship is very good, but I am really upset that Sears Appliance Repair gave me time window for Tech arrival from 8AM to 5PM, then just before the day gave 7.30 AM to 8.30 AM. In the morning of repair changed to 8.30AM to 9.30AM and I would be informed if delayed. No tech came and around 12 noon I tried to call but unable to talk to any live person. The recorded message notified some one on the way. Finally I saw a message that Tech would be there between 1.40 PM and 2.15PM. He arrived at 1.45 PM and dish washer repair completed around 3 PM. I am sorry to say that my whole day was spent in waiting for the repair. Please make sure in the future that at least 2 hour window of time given and keep adhering to the time so that customers are not put to inconvenience.
