The wait time for a service call is over 1 week. Perhaps more technicians are needed to handle the call load. We scheduled a service call and no one showed nor was there any phone / text calls. We called sears and were informed that the call was cancelled. Obviously an error, and we rescheduled (1 week additional) . The Technician was on time (8-12 arrive at 8:45) and diagnosed the problem within 5 minutes. Parts were on the truck (Ice maker replacement kit) and the repair was completed within 1 hour total. (1/5 the total cost $$$.$$ of the refrigerator)

Excellent repairman and he fixed my icemaker plumbing issue but ran into problems when I was trying to pay. The system did not take my check and my first credit card. My second credit card worked. Repair cost was reasonable and the 20% discount coupon helped.

Technician arrived on time, was very polite.

The preventive maintenance visit seems to be somewhat superficial, especially compared to the same visit on the same day for our treadmill. The treadmill was opened, cleaned and thoroughly inspected. For the dishwasher, the technician ran it briefly, pushed a few of the cycle selection buttons, and pronounced it fine. He did not remove the filter to check it. I did not see him open any panels, etc.
