The microwave works which is most important, however he did not complete the job. The light underneath the did not come on. We found out that the panel underneath was put on incorrectly. We took the panel off and realized that he didn’t put the lightbulb back in because the place where the bulb went was on the opposite side. This showed us that he either was in a hurry to get home for the day because it was the last job or he realized it was put in incorrectly and decided to it the way it was. This was very unprofessional.

It took 4 and a half months for different Sears service people to swap out 5 different parts to “hopefully“ fix our dryer. Last installation was a new motor. We hope it will finally be fixed. ALSO… the on-line scheduling system is poor at best. We spent at least 4 different scheduling cycles waiting for our technician to arrive, and they never came..even though we got confirmation texts and emails of the successfully scheduled appointment.

Technician was GREAT. SEARS AI/online txt msg help, not so much. It assured me with the serial number/model, parts WOULD be available for tech to do the service TODAY. They weren’t there for him to pick up this morning. Your AI is broken. Total price of parts he COULD order, WITH price of monthly service plan - parts available in 7-10 days - was nearly the cost of a NEW refrigerator with similar features by a hundred dollars or so. It was worth spending/gambling the $119 for the service call to make this decision to go ahead and buy a NEW refrigerator somewhere.

The repairman was our third in the past couple of months. He diagnosed a problem that the previous repairmen had missed (the seal around the washing machine drum was no longer attached and was very worn) and installed a much less expensive part (a new collar and seal) instead of essentially replacing the drum on our washing machine. He also apparently checked the filter and made sure that it was no longer getting clogged and was installed properly. That was all good. However, after he left, the washing machine stopped during the wash cycle (a new problem) and we got an error message. i was able to do three loads of laundry before the machine stopped during the wash cycle again. Now we are waiting for a fourth repair person. it is a good thing that the first repair person sold us a one year warranty on the washer, so there was no charge for this visit or the parts.

The only reason that I didn't rate the service higher was two-fold: 1. I had to reschedule a previous appointment because I was 5 minutes away when I rec'd his notice to arrive (at 2 - first appointment he showed up at 5:55) - he said he couldn't wait. 2. He was very hard to understand. Thank you.

the repairman came out twice, The first time he was plesant and took the 20% off coupon I got from the sears rep online when I made the appt.... the second time he came he was irritated and charged me for the amount the coupon discounted and I still don't know why. My appt was for 1:45 and he called earlier to see if I was available sooner, which I was not. Not my fault he was done early or having a bad day. He did a great job fxing the oven though, and we were able to have a lovely thanksgiving because he fixed it. So thanks again, sorry you had to wait for me to get home.
