I was beginning to lose total faith in Sears repair teams. Thankfully, the gentleman that came to repair my Refrigerator proved to be an experienced and knowledgeable service engineer. He came in and in no time had my appliance repaired. My only complaint is that when I originally made the appointment I informed the customer service person of the model # andexactly what was broken. They still came in a had to order the parts which led to another 2 week delay for service. This is the reason for the 3 stars

Technician was knowledgeable and discovered source of problem, which was not a water heater leak. He managed to stop the leak and suggested steps to take for a fix of the uncovered issue. I want to state, however, that getting the appointment was particularly difficult: I got cut off or hung up on and had to call back three or four times (after being transferred a few times). Eventually, an representative called me back to complete the appointment setting, and apologized as the call center was apparently having technical difficulties. My rating would have ben 4 stars without the issue described above.

Well, my dishwasher doesn't clean my dishes. The repairman came on time and spent about 10 minutes taking apart the elements, found one little piece of debris, put it back together and left. I was surprised that was all he did, but perhaps that's all he can do. It was definitely not worth over $200 since my dishes are still not clean. I don't blame the repairman, I just wish he would have given me more time and made suggestions about what to do if the dishes still weren't clean.

Our serviceman was very professional and timely in is response to our maintenance call. Always nice to have people who care for the customer showing up. Two stars removed as problem came back in two days and now we wait for 8 days for someone to come back. COME ON SEARS! Ever hear of expediting a service call.

1-800-4-MYHOME is the worst with scheduling and getting technicians here on time. We attempted a repair seven years ago, and they never showed up - twice. I gave them another chance, thinking it was a fluke a long time ago. No. Our window was almost over, and I had a bad feeling we were in for a repeat no-show. So, we called and were right. We had to talk to several people and spend about 30 minutes on the phone to get a technician to our home as promised. The technician, Mario, was great. But, I will literally never dial that number again. I will find a local appliance repair person before I ever deal with Sears' home repair. The worst scheduling ever. If you can make the cable company look good, you're doing it wrong.

Repair was done quickly and everything is back in order. The only problem with the repair crew was that their ability to process the payment via credit card left much to be desired. They tried four times with two different cards that were perfectly fine and we not able to do it due to their voice activated/automated payment processing system. Either they were not careful enough when calling out the numbers to it or there was too much background noise for the processing system to recognize the numbers. Either way, I ended up paying with a check. The payment process wasted too much of my time.
