tHE TECHNICIAN WAS VERY GOOD AND PROFESSIONAL. tHE PROBLEM HAS GOTTEN WORST NOW. THE FREEZER IS VERY ICY AND FROSTY INSIDE. i WOULD LIKE A TECHNICIAN COME OUT EITHER LATER TODAY OR WEDNESDAY LATE MORNING OR AFTERNOON. I ALREADY HAVE AN APPOINTMENT ON Thursday BUT EVERYTHING IS VERY ICY AND FROSTY LOOKING.

This was the 4th time Sears has attempted to repair my Samsung Refrigerator. The ice maker assembly freezes up after about a month and a half and stops making ice. They have sealed it, replaced the mother board, the circulation fan and this time the ice maker itself. I am keeping my fingers crossed that this time it is fixed. I will not know until at least a month has passed. If this repair fixes it great if not I expect Sears to honor their warranty and replace the refrigerator. Check back at the end of June 2016. Repair was made May 18, 2016

Very nice repair man but he lost the screw washer on the floor and I found the screw in the ice maker. He said nothing about it and left. He wore a mask but no clean gloves. I had to wash the entire fridge area after he left and that's how I found the missing screw in the ice maker. Our young generation has no pride in the work it does.

Tech was good but Kenmore Elite French Doors (LG) Refrigrator is terrible. At 3 years and 8 months the compressor, coil and refrigerant have to be replaced and the tech gave an estimate of $1,400.00 for the work even with compressor being under warranty. No wonder Sears is going out of business - it sells defective appliances so that Sears Home Service stays in business.

The technicuan did not have to finish the job as the expenses were higher than buying a new fridge. Cost for compressor and 3 other parts for $1800. I declined his offer of buying a fridge on the spot and chose to wait until I spoke with my husband to buy another fridge (we use an old fridge in the meantime).
