If I could rate the repair service a 0, I would. The system is forcing me to rate it with at least 1 star. I've scheduled numerous repair appointments for my Samsung refrigerator and it is still not repaired. I've had no refrigerator for almost a month now. The last 2 appointments, the technician canceled my appointment. Constantly calling off days is wasting my time and money. If the refrigerator is not repairable, I would like Sears or the technician to just let me know and give me whatever voucher they would offer, so I can move on and just get a new refrigerator. I can't buy any groceries and can't even prep meals for my newborn son. This is getting outrageous and I just want someone to be able to fix my refrigerator.

very dissappointed in the service to fix my washer. Tech came out at 8 in the morning. claimed he did not have the tools to fix my washer. He then left and came back at 5 with what looked to be the same stuff he left with. Nothing new. Once he got started again he proceeded to BASH and BANG on the washer until he finally got whatever he was removing out. After finishing he left DIRT and DARK BLACK stains ALLOVER MY CARPET! Not only that the washer is STILL making noises. I am very disappointed with Sears and there TECHS

I was extremely disappointed with the service I received. My washing machine was already disassembled when the technician arrived. I explained to the technician that the washer will agitate and drain water, but will not spin. Here are the problems: 1.) The technician assumed my lid switch was the problem 2.) He proceeded to replace the lid switch without testing the machine. 3.) He then presents me with the cost of the repair which by the way exceeds the amount I'd pay for a replacement machine. 4.) He tells me that the washing machine is fixed and he left it on the spin cycle to remove the water that was sitting from pre-repair. 4.) I pay 5.) MY MACHINE STILL AGITATES AND DRAINS WATER BUT DOES NOT SPIN!!! He never tested the machine before he left to ensure that it was truly fixed. AND he never told me how much the repairs would be before he fixed it. Maybe I'm too trusting. I assumed Sears would be a safe bet for professional reliable service, but I was really wrong. Very disappointed and now waiting for them to re-repair the machine that should have been repaired during the original visit.

Got emails for someone else's service. Replied asking to be removed, but never got removed. There was no link to indicate it was an incorrect email.

They fixed my dryer on a Thursday. Soon after they left, it stopped working again. I called and they said that they would try to come back that day. They did not come back Thursday, so I called at 6:30am Friday. They said they could not come out Friday, that the earliest would be Saturday or Monday. Even though they failed to fix the problem on Thursday, they refused to come back the next day to even look at it. I think if a repair company comes out to fix something, and the repair doesn't work, they should prioritize those cases, and make it right. Sears Home Services doesn't care about standing behind their work, they just care about getting money. It's a huge company, and they just use subcontractors, so there's no sense of honor or pride in their work - it's all just calls. Go direct with a local company who will stand behind their work, and make things right when they go wrong. A special shout-out to Nick in the Chicago Routing office who threatened to hang up on me if I didn't choose Saturday or Monday. Real professional, Nick.

I have had problems with this unit for the past three years. I think it needs more freon. Inevitably all of the appointment I have been given have occurred on cooler days so the symptoms of over heating and fumes from hot oil don't happen. Sears evidently has no devices to measure freon pressure so there is no addressing the problem. I bought this air conditioner in 2002 and worked fine until 2012. I had a Sears contract the whole time and they cleaned it yearly but ignored my complaint after it started to malfunction. I consider my last three year repair contract to be a foolish (on my part) waste of funds I could have used for other things like a new AC.
