Previous Technicians did not perform a satisfactory job. Washing machine still did not work after the job was completed. I was without a washer for almost a month and three technicians came out and could not solve the problem. Every time someone found a different problem. The fourt technician came out on the 22nd and did a fantastic job but my problem was still not solve so he finally recommended for a replacement. This was really an inconvenience no more sears extended protection plan.

Had Sears tech come out to perform maintenance on the machine. Didn't do much just ran the machine took 5 min. Not satisfied with the annual maintenance that was performed.

Requested service for moldy smell, only to have 2 technicians tell me to buy chemicals to clean it. This was after they ran a rinse/drain cycle for 5 minutes. Didn't do anything I couldn't do myself. Waste of time and money.

The overall experience was horrible. I am still waiting for customer service to contact me regarding this matter. We have purchased many appliances and protection agreements from Sears in the past but are considering never doing business with the company again.

Firstly Sears mishandled my appointment. I was supposed to receive a technician on Nov-17th. but there was no show on 17th. When I called, they said I am scheduled for Nov-23rd (a day before thanksgiving). I had plans to go out on long weekend and it took me sometime for them to send someone prior to Nov-23rd. When the technician came, although he was friendly and nice, but after spending nearly two hours on my refrigerator - he said, "Sir we do not perform repair on this kind of refrigerator". I have a Samsung refrigerator less than two years old. Bottom line, incompetency with poor scheduling service. Will recomend to everyone to give all the information and make sure they are capable of dealing with your make and model.

Sears Kenmore Range Repair under Maintenance Agreement Issue: Bad Relay Board causes a burner to display “Hot surface: when burner not on. Mike in North Potomac, Md. 12/10/2016 It took 5 appointments and several calls to Sears falling on deaf ears to get action and information about how the process works to diagnose my Kenmore Range issue and to install the new part. 3 technicians miss-diagnosed the problem of my Kenmore range Issue: Bad Relay Board causes a burner to display “Hot surface: when burner not on. Sears required that I sign a waiver that the Sears technicians would not be responsible for any damages (to my new kitchen granite counters and new floor ceramic tiles and newly refaced kitchens drawers) if they had to move my Kenmore range to be repaired under my annual maintenance agreement with Sears. Sears eventually sent SIS VA INC., a 3rd party vendor Virginia based vendor who did not require a waiver, but who correctly diagnosed the issue , ordered the part and successfully installed. Unfortunately, Sears had bounced me around to 3 departments where customer service and management service on the whole was very poor. This is not the first time I had issue with Sears. About 5 years ago, I had a problem with my clothes dryer door in which the door hinges and clips broke from normal use. Sears shipped the parts and instructed that I install the parts myself. I complained to the Sears customer service main office that I should not have to do the work that I am paying Sears to perform. Customer Service apologized and set up a service call and promised to send me a $75.00 gift card. I never received the card. I seriously doubt that I will renew my appliances maintenance agreements as it is not worth the aggravation to deal with such poor customer / technicians service . The repair man did not know what he was here to repair, even though we had spent the evening on the phone with Sears troubleshooting and going into great detail. He did not know how to repair the oven and had to Goggle instructions. He then said that he needed to order a part. More than a week later the oven is still not working, we have not heard anything from Sears or the repair company. This is absolutely ridiculous. Quality of service is obviously not a priority.

Repairman came and sold us a home warranty told us he had fixed the dryer and left. Dryer didn't work when I went to use it. I called the next day and they said I had to wait another week for a repairman and wouldn't refund my charges. Sears scammed me.

A terrible experience. Our white Kenmore electric range has become discolored in the areas where the oven vents when the self-cleaning cycle is used, and the repairman said this is expected! This will be the last Kenmore range I will ever purchase! This had been a good stove to date (7 years old), but the repairman did nothing to aleviate the problem.
