My first appointment with repair was Jan 18, 2017 for washer and dryer. The appointment went fine with a requirement to order parts for both with a 7 to 10 business day for parts. I waited patiently for a call from repair. Nothing! I called repair on 2/1/17 - parts available and established a repair f/u appt for /8/17. Technician worked to install parts. No paperwork provided to indicate what was done. Washer appears to be working ok. Dryer, however, had issues. Repair people were unresponsive to my calls for follow up since 2/15/17. I was working with dryer to see if I could get it to work- sensing panel issues. Sensing wet when clothes were dry! Dryer finally stopped-would not turn on. Contacted Sears 3/3 for help. Repair to call me. Thears Appliance Repair, 11255 New Hampshire Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20904 at didn't happen! Called repair-someone was to call. That didn't happen! Contacted Sears again 3/8/17. After two people and a dropped call, called Sears again. David scheduled an appointment for tomorrow 3/10 for repair. We'll see what happens next!!!

I have only given this one star because I can't give negatives. The Technician claimed my busted Washer Lid was a "cosmetic" damage even though the lid will not close or lock to wash clothes. Because he labeled it "cosmetic" no one at BRAIN DEAD Sears would discuss it! It currently is being held down with bungie cords so we could do a load of Laundry

1. The service man picked up the glass I had been drinking water/milk from off of the counter and started filling to test the water dispenser! I was flabbergasted! Why didn't he ask for something to dispense water into? 2. He NEVER left me a receipt for the call. Even when there's "no charge" a receipt is normally left. 3. Doesn't the service person have a small vacuum to vacuum the coils? He asked me for my vac after I asked him to do an "annual check" since he said the filter barrel had probably been the problem, but the water line was fine now. I drug the upright from the basement. Normally my daughter does this for me since I had knee surgery last year. Very inconvenient. 4. He wanted food moved from the water filter shelf, but didn't say so and just started moving our food around the frig. I told him quickly I would move it! Why didn't he just ask me to move the food. He could have said I'll wash my hands and move your food or if you can move it for me? 5. When he walked out the door he did not bother to shut it. My front door was hanging wide open. 6. He was interested in jumping to update my service contract. Which I had planned to do. Just had service on my stove, and spoke with rep and contract folks in March. Just saying--that seemed a higher priority.

Service improperly done. Washer doesn't spin well AND Cloth is left soaking wet. Efforts to reschedule visit troubled by Sears incompetent system based on service order #

The technician that came actually ruined our ice maker, rendering the fridge unusable, so we were given a replacement refrigerator. This after only 3 years of owning this refrigerator.

Technician was very difficult to understand. He was not very helpful in answering questions. His standard reply was "NO, or do you want to pay" when I asked questions about things I wanted addressed in reference to my stove. The repair took 2 trips as he did no have the part needed on the first visit.
