I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience with Sears Home Warranty. Although my refrigerator has finally been repaired, it took more than five months to resolve the issue. During that time, I experienced more than ten appointment cancellations while waiting for my service request to be completed. The repeated delays, lack of communication, and failure to honor scheduled appointments were incredibly frustrating and unacceptable. On May 20, I contacted customer service and specifically requested that my concerns be escalated to senior management. The representative was unable to provide me with a point of contact or an email address to submit my complaint. Instead, I was told that someone would contact me within 5–7 business days. It has now been more than 30 days, and I have received no acknowledgment, follow-up, or response from anyone in management. Given the excessive delays and Sears Home Warranty's inability to fulfill my service requests in a timely manner, I also requested a full refund and that my contract be terminated without penalty. After waiting more than five months for a repair and enduring numerous canceled appointments, I believe this request is entirely reasonable. Unfortunately, I have received no response regarding this matter either. While I am relieved that my refrigerator is finally working, the overall experience has left me with little confidence in Sears Home Warranty. The lengthy repair process, repeated cancellations, lack of communication, and failure to address customer concerns demonstrate poor customer service and accountability. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Sears Home Warranty to anyone.

Drytyn was polite but claimed the washer needed 700.-800. dollars to repair. I wasn't convinced of this thankfully, and I researched the issue myself, bought a water inlet valve and my husband and I installed it ourselves. The washer is running perfect now, and the part was 50. dollars. Drytyn told us we'd be better off buying a new unit. Thankfully, I didn't do that!

STAY AWAY! I am forced to use Sears through my home warranty, Choice HW. After 3 attempts with a service window of 8am-5pm. he never showed up and wasting 36 hours waiting for him, I have seen him twice drive by and never stop.

Very disappointed. Have a whole home warranty and was told to get a local person to take care of the issue. We paid $100 to hear that. Not happy

The technician, Charles wss very rude. Unprofessional and confrontational. My wife was afraid he was going to kick one of our cats. He left without looking at the spplisnce I. Question. There was a lack of communication from CHW regarding the payment we made, but was refunded without our knowledge which necessitated another payment, which was made but Charles left anyway. We are waiting to hear when we will have a different technician come out

I don’t know this technician maybe he’s an extreme expert however he came to my home. Was there less than 10 minutes and the fix was the most expensive fix for a situation that can have 2 to 4 different causes. The machine was not taken apart. We basically turned it on for a sound And said you need the most expensive repair for this particular issue honestly, I want my money back. I’m gonna give you $120 to diagnose a problem that has multiple causes then take the back of my washer off. Make sure it’s not clogged or unplugged you know process of elimination I’m buying a new washing machine but in the back of my head, I’m wondering could it just be clogged somewhere but how would I know the technician did nothing but turned it on and say $566 to fix

I can't speak to their work because they never showed up for the appointment, only to receive an AI message 2 hours after the all day time window about rescheduling for a full week later at the earliest. Then getting ahold of a human took calling dozens of numbers to finally get on that let you speak to someone. They also had no ability to do anything other than transfer me to a third party who was only able to put me on a wait list. Beyond frustrating and shows a clear lack of empathy for the customer experience.

Steven T was very nice. However he did not fix the problem and made it worse. He was here for 3 hours, and couldn't tell my husband what he did. "Just made some adjustments inside and outside." This was for my HVAC.
