My father’s refrigerator/freezer was not making ice. The technician determined that the freezer was too full and that ice had formed. The technician provided the options to remedy the situation. Due to my father’s age, the least expensive option was not viable. Once the technician removed the ice, the ice maker and the freezer began working again. The technician also explained that due to the age of the refrigerator, it is possible that the compressor could stop functioning at a later date. I appreciate the time the technician took to explain the options to both me and my father.
