I’m giving 5 stars to the technician Walton, who was wonderful and did a great job checking and cleaning my washer/dryer. But I give 1 star to Sears AI bot system which is very frustrating to use. It’s nearly impossible to get a live agent if you have an issue like I did that can’t be addressed by the automated system. I wanted to schedule my annual washer and dryer maintenance check but I didn’t want 2 separate appointments. The system would not let me do that, which is why I needed a live agent to help me. AI bots can be useful but there should always be an “off-ramp” option to to speak to a live agent. Sears would do well to remember that when a customer contacts them, they expect to receive helpful service and not endless automated “customer service” systems.

My AC stopped working correctly & I filed a claim. The deductible was reasonable & I just needed to wait for my appointment. My technician, Aaron came & he was very pleasant! He was able to diagnose the issue & replace a malfunctioning part on the outside unit quick, fast & in a hurry. In no time, my AC was back to pumping cool air! I had no extra cost to pay, which was the cherry on top. Thank you, Sears!!
