It took over a month and half to get my AC repaired in the hottest summer in history. The service window provided is absurd, never heard of a 7am - 6pm window. Oh but wait if I didn’t like that my only other option is 8am - 5pm, really!!! Technician showed up for first two visits in a personal vehicle with just a little handbag of tools. The second visit was for installation of parts. Tells me he has to reschedule because he doesn’t have the tools and materials to do the job after I had to wait two weeks for the appointment and waited all day for him to show up at 4pm unprepared. An hour later I get a message saying do to my request for a reschedule my next appointment was two weeks later rather than were sorry we’ll be there tomorrow. When I called I’m told that is the first available appointment. Nothing they can do. The third appointment he finally showed with a work van and completed the service. Although the morning of I get a message that technician was going to arrive around 9am and he didn’t show until 3:30pm. So at the end of all this I lost three full days of work. Took 1 1/2 months to get AC in the dead of summer with the house temperature in the 90’s. No sense of caring from the company. Almost impossible to even get a hold of anyone to talk to and they didn’t care either. Lastly, the technician coming in a personal vehicle without the proper tools and equipment is unacceptable. On top of that the technician was not in a uniform. No id. His shirt barely covered his belly button and could see half his arse when working. Very unprofessional. Would never recommend using Sears Home Services or Choice Home Warranty!

Repairman and company only want money. Nothing honest. No extra effort or attempt to really check.

Technician when he came was excellent. However, we had a big frustration with the appointments. The first appointment was scheduled for 7-11 am but then they didn't come for the whole day; the second appointment, was 8am-12noon but only came after 2pm. Finally, the 3rd appointment came in the scheduled window.

Abdul brought in 2 other people wit him into our home. Not sure what these guys were there for. They were all loud and rude. On top of all of this, the wager still isn’t working.

The technician just came did not even opened and looked at the inside or outside units. Just said they do not repair these units. But charged labor.

Easy enough to set up and technician was friendly enough to. He spent a little time looking at 17yr old hood and his device or phone before telling me my range hood is too old and they no longer make the part so he couldn’t fix it and charged me the $129 diagnostic fee. Later found OEM part online myself. I get an email later saying I declined the repair which was never the case. Save yourself the $129. Never again Edit: forgot to mention that this company is all AI virtual agents. Tried contacting them through website before leaving review as well as number from "owner" response which leads to AI phone tree hell. Unable to even get to a person. Should have looked up reviews before scheduling worthless diagnostic visit.

He was very rude

Our technician was great five stars. My only issue was AI bots run all calls and texts. I think a live representative should be available upon request which It was not. All 3 phone numbers I got from my home warranty company were all AI.

The technician did not know how to replace the ice dispenser pedal, even though I had already provided the required replacement part. He asked for my Wi-Fi password so he could connect his personal phone, saying his own connection was too slow. After entering the refrigerator information into his work phone, I noticed he was watching YouTube videos on his personal phone to learn how to replace the part. When he saw that I was calling my home warranty company, he suddenly grabbed his tools and left without any explanation. The only thing he said was, “I’ll ask them to send another technician.” To make matters worse, his service notes falsely stated that the homeowner refused to have the refrigerator repaired. That is completely untrue. I never refused the repair—I simply expected a qualified technician who knew how to perform the work. This was an awful service experience and very unprofessional. It was my first experience with Sears Home Services, and unfortunately, it will also be my Last last.
