Mustafa was wonderful. However trying to get updates on arrival time is horrible. No customer service with Sears Home Service. They need to have a person answer the phone as AI can’t help. Very frustrating. Next time I will look for a mom & pop repair service.

The tech arrived 1hr45min beyond the scheduled window, with zero communication. Text message “updates” continued to claim I was the next stop, despite estimating an arrival time that had already passed. The only contact number leads to an AI assistant who could only tell me that my appointment was confirmed for ~9:23am, despite me placing the call at 11:28am. There is no way to speak to a human or offer any feedback, until this survey. The tech himself was pleasant but took very little time to troubleshoot my unit, diagnosing it with a failed control board, the replacement of which costs more than the unit itself. When I declined the replacement part, the tech indicated that I should sign a blank screen on his phone, without letting me see *what* I was signing. I asked to speak to a manager or supervisor and was told there is none — only the AI assistant. On the whole, the customer service was abysmal. That’s not entirely the tech’s fault, but I will not be calling Sears again.
