Oh, boy! The scheduling system works well and guy came and estimated $765 to replace the dryer heating element. Then took a photo of my estimate with his personal cell and offered to do it on his own time for half price or less. Happily paid the $129 estimate fee and showed him the door. Buy the same dryer for $300.

Cesar, the appliance repair technician basically does not care about customer service. He does not follow his own company laid rules. He confuses the customer all the time and when asked, he either blames Sears fellow employees or the customer, depending on whichever is convenient to him. He lies a lot and is completely untrustworthy. I don't know how he still has a job.

I would not refer sears for any repair services. I missed four days of work waiting for a technician to come to my home to just look at the washer for an estimate of the repair. I called each time to confirm that someone would be come each time. I could neevr get a live representative from the sears provided number so I had to go through my home warranty service. They would then confirm that someone would be out to my home between 7-6p but I sat there all day an no one came. Frustrating! And to mention, I'm missing out on pay because I'm not at work. On the fourth appointment the technician came but had to come back at a later time to bring the correct piece needed for the washer. They then scheduled me another week out.Thank God the technician was able to move the appointment up to the next day, but I still had to go into work late. So after the fifth appointment the washer has been fixed. Calling into customer service was horrible. The representatives were rude and even hung up on me. I would never recommend this service to anyone.

Rep was not willing to even check the machine. When i insisted; he intentionally broke the plastic pane; his motive was to declare the machine bad and try to sell another machine. He has ensured that i will NEVER call SEARS again for any home warranty work.

I wish I could give negative stars. Horrible experience. Impossible to speak to a human. Chat is useless. They owe me money for parts I had to order because the parts they ordered are arriving after the service appointment. Never again. I saw Sears’ reply. Would be funny if it weren’t sad. Good luck speaking to a human calling that number.

It took one full week to dispatch the service technician to assess the fault and recommend the repair solution on my Goodman HVAC (issue reported 06/21/25, SEARS technician dispatched 06/28/25), and 18 days after initial visit technician Severino called me on day of repair (07/16/25) to let me know the part is not available, and SEARS pushes repair date for 07/25/25. Again, confirmation and reconfirmation of the fact that the part is with technician, and the repair date is confirmed and set for 07/25/25. Again, on the day of repair (07/25/25) SEARS technician Severino calls to let me know the part (evaporator coil) is still on backorder. After that, we are no longer dealing with SEARS, and different service provider has been contracted to perform the repair. This engagement with SEARS and their technician Severino was extremely unfortunate, unpleasant and unprofessional experience that stretched for 34 days with no resolution. Al the while with extremely hot weather in my area, with Heat Advisory in effect, with Heat index values thst are exceeding 105.
