The 5 stars are for John. John was very professional and helped me understand on how to keep my central air functioning efficiently. Sears itself, I’m not really happy with them. I’ve had to call several times for the same issue and or you schedule for service and they tell you that you did not. When you receive notification that you submitted a claim and confirmation that someone will be out and no one ever shows after you’ve waited for hours.

James was exceptional - he stayed until the job was done. The parts he ordered two weeks ago came in 3 days. That was the good part of the job. The bad thing was that Sears Home Services cancelled my 2nd appointment to actually get the dryer fixed once the parts came. They never registered in their system that the parts had been delivered. And it really affected everything. My 2nd appointment was cancelled on the back end by someone at Sears Home Services and I could not get through to a REAL person until Monday after trying and trying to deal with the online system that said "no need to call us back" it was just rudely worded. And at the very least unhelpful. There needs to be a prompt to speak to a representative if the system is not able to make it happen. I won't recommend Sears Home Services to anyone and I will not use again. It was frustrating for both me and my service provider - James again was wonderful and efficient. It's your system that has glitches. I paid in advance and for two weeks I was regretting that - because once paid, Sears Home Services figured that the job was done.
