Very unhappy with A&E service in general. The first tech was not prepared with protection and equipment and didn't fix the problem. Furthermore he didn't put all the parts back. The second tech was perfect. Very courteous and polite and made sure I was happy with the work. He also came in and went right to work. I had to take 2 days off because the time line was a 4 hr window and there was no one I could contact to get a better idea of when the tech would arrive. I would never recommend A&E to anyone and hope to never be involved with them in the future.

We canceled the repair would not honor our warranty. We had service one month ago with the same problem and they said we didn’t. So no service and we will no longer use this service.

Nice person , but after 4 visits and many parts installed the washer still doesn’t operate correctly. He never stays to see if his service has resolved the problem. Every time he comes he gets codes for another faulty part/ parts. This Assurant Policy is not as good as previous policies I’ve purchased in the past. I would not recommend it or purchase it again. At $900+ it’s a rip off and would like my money back.

Pau came and based on my analysis I provided him the details and he didn’t even bother to take a look anything else I told him twice that make sure u take a look properly as u r the expert. Immediately he said its a water intake valve issue and it will cost me 299 dollars after 150 dollars sears discount where valve cost 30 dollars I asked him why these much he didn’t care to answer anything he was forcing me to pay right there he didn’t give me time to think and just marked customer refused and he left the house

Icemaker wasnt getting cold enough to freeze the ice. I explained that I had run the diagnostic testing on the fridge and all the icemaker components were working but the temp inside the ice cube tray was 40 degrees. They ignored me, didnt run any of the diagnostics mose built into the fridge and said they need to replace the entire ice maker, which have no cooling components in it, just the function of filling the tray with water and dumping ice. I questioned if they were sure it would fixed the problem and they insisted it would. Over $500 later and then icemaker still sits at 40 degrees and hasn't made a single ice cube in days. Update: since this they acknowledged it was misdiagnosed and now say it is a fan in the ice maker. They ordered a fan for the ice maker but when someone else came to install it they said the fan in the icemaker isn't then one that needs to be replaced and the large fan in the condenser needs to be changed. They ordered the 2nd fan and returned days later (a new person) to find that it's not the 2nd fan that needs to be replaced but actually the first fan, but they already returned it. So reorder that fan and come back in a few days. All in all they have been here a half dozen times, different person each time, hundreds of dollars spent, still no ice.

I had a very disappointing experience. The technician who came to my home was clearly not experienced and admitted he was not familiar with my appliance. He spent most of the visit searching on his phone instead of actually diagnosing the problem. He did no repair work, could not properly diagnose the issue, and couldn’t even perform a basic task like manually unlocking the washer door so I could retrieve my laundry. Because of his lack of knowledge, the visit was a complete waste of my time. Despite providing no solution and no diagnosis, I was still charged for this visit. Charging customers when no work is done and no expertise is provided feels completely unfair and unprofessional. I would not recommend this service and even customer service was unhelpful

I was charged $210 to tighten a loose wire on my refrigerator! Im glad I didn't choose there option to cover all appliances. Huge ripe off. Was not even here 30 mins working. Would rate 0 but it's not possible. I was told $139 would be charged if I do not go with them to repair. The $139 would go towards it if I do choose you. I did choose you and I was charged that much. At most I should have been charged $139 which still would have been way over priced. I was supposed to be given the problem and the price and decide if i wanted him to fix it or not. I was given neither. I was not able to deny him to fix it. Which means I could have only paid $139 and reconnected the wire myself. Or decide myself to pay $210 for bare minimum.
