Service tech was nice, but very rushed. When the repair was complete, he never turned the water back on, so when I went to do a load of laundry in my newly-fixed washing machine, the water pump was damaged due to no water coming in. The cost for a new water pump is more than a new washer, so now I have a to get a new washer. After $500 in repairs. Do not recommend. ps - he flooded my kitchen too

The employee sent by Sears was the rudest service worker I have had in my house in the 40 years I have lived here. Upon looking at the oven he was asked to repair, he questioned me in an arogant manner about how I knew the oven wasn't heating; told me an external oven thermometer was not accurate; asked me how I knew that the oven was not cooking the food multiple times and acted like I was giving him stupid answers when I told him the food was uncooked; saw a spider on the floor three feet away from him and near my wife (By that time my wife had entered the kitchen since she couldn't believe his tone with me) and pointed it out to my wife and when she said spiders don't bother her, he walked over and stepped on the spider; warned me that he could break a suport on my cabinet since the oven was 400 lbs., had me sign a waiver, and would not assure me that he would stop pulling out the oven if he couldn't handle the weight; again talked to me in a condescending tone when he asked if I could find the electrical feed line to the oven in the basement; when I gave him a coupon for a discount from the Sears website he told me it was a weekend code (this man came on a Friday) and argued with me that I should have known it was only good on the weekend since the code had a WKND in it, despite no mention of that in the coupon or online, with the implication again that I was not smart enough to have known that; and he refused to leave quickly when we told him we did not want him to complete the service since he couldn't access the back of the oven. (I later found out that all ovens are hard wired and this man was unprepared to deal with that, which all other repair services are trained to do.) He did not wipe his shoes when entering the house and only talked to me in a civil tone when I told him I thought he was rude. He insisted in carrying on a "defense" of himself even after I asked him to leave. Plus, after this treatment and without the service even attempted, I find it infurating that I was asked to pay the fee, which I did. I will never use Sears again. Further, we were originally scheduled to have a serviceman come out two days ago and waited all day, only for this person to call and tell me in the late afternoon that he only could use one hand and I would still have to pay for the visit if he arrived and couldn't do the work one handed. And yesterday, the Sears AI character emailed me and told me they could come that day and no one arrived. Again, we waited all afternoon. In summary, it would be kind to say that the service was extremely poor. Finally, Sears sent me an email, after they received my review, asking me to call so they attend to my complaint. It was the same number I used to set up the appointment and offered no way to access a human . So, Sears doesn't really care.

Real bummer of an experience. My freezer started getting super frosty so there was clearly an issue with the seal of the freezer. They came over, told me to replace the gasket(I did not think it was the gasket, i think the door was seating wrong for some reason), which they quoted as $300 for the part itself and $950 for the total service. Which is insane for one gasket. I deliver and still had to pay the fee for them to tell me that was the issue. So I bought the gasket from the manufacturer ($130…not $300) and installed it myself (very basic install, 10 minutes of work tops, and yes I heated the uneven areas etc). It still did not fix the issue, as I anticipated. Would not request their services again.

ZERO STARS - Technician Jaimie Q - ID:0030114 - - Never showed because it was stated that no address existed (the location for the repair/diagnosis) - it's on google maps and all other search/direction apps. The tech then took the next step and SEARS then forwarded me a receipt from the tech reading FORM FROM YOUR RECENT SERVICE with the caption: "Attached is a copy of the form YOU SIGNED with your Technician today" with the attached form bearing what is alleged my signature - - never happened. SEARS then sent a PAYMENT RECEIPT FOR MY RECENT REPAIR... although the amounts read $0 due I tried complaining to SEARS but hit road blocks. A tech never showed yesterday, although the truck drove past my home twice and then left as he was being flagged down. I then received notification that the appointment was rescheduled - not by me.Today, on this next service date request, No One showed and again stated that no address existed - the tech called my office even though I changed the contact to my cell. Terrible customer service - can't get to anyone who could provide an answer and Why is the tech fraudulently signing my name?

The guy was foreign and very hard to understand. When the repairman arrived he just shook the washer and said it was broken and to buy a new machine. Barely spoke English such a waste. $129 for someone to shake the 3 year old washing machine

Scheduled to arrive between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM-arrived at home at 10:00 AM -wife had to leave work in order to meet him I was out of town $400 labor is absurd for 20 minutes work - could not call and talk to live agent-will never call Sears home service again and will let friends know not to as well

Absolutely terrible, tech showed up the first time and was extremely rude and didn’t fix the problem, he was suppose to come back twice and never shows up either time after making me wait all day. Seats has no real person to talk to, only AI. Absolutely disgusting.

Did not fix the problem. We told him there was an electrical fault. He Said “without a video I can’t fix this”. Also, he forged my signature on the approval document. I never signed off on his work. Forging my signature in order to get paid is financial fraud.

Issues not fixed with missing parts which had enough time to resolved the issues. Waited a week with no washer. Bad experience and service. Had to go and purchase a new washer as we needed it urgently. Very disappointed. Will not recommend them for service issues.
