Look elsewhere! There is no live person to speak to about complaints or concerns. They canceled 2 hours into the arrival window then said they would arrive hours after the eta, but actually arrived on time. The price was as much as a new oven to fix an ignition switch (+$600).

The work done (replace dishwasher door spring) was satisfactory The attitude of the technician was not. The first visit done well by a different technician was to analyze the situation. He suggested that we consider replacing both springs as the unit is quite old. We agreed and ordered two springs and paid for them along with the cost of installation. The installation was done two days later by a different technician. He replaced the broken spring but refused to replace the other spring. I expressed my disappointment but he was adamant. “If it ain’t broke don’t fix it” was his mantra. despite the fact that I now own a spare spring at a cost of $50 which he couldn’t discount because I had already paid for it.

He was courteous, address the problem and informed me of what will happen next. Update still waiting on Sears to submit the final report to AHS, it has been horrific trying to get this repair completed. When do we stop treating people like humans instead of trash! My repair has not been addressed, I have paid for the service. No repair. , no microwave and no response from Sears and American Home Shields. Dishonesty is not good business! Disgusting to know that warranty companies and their partners are allowed to get away with this! SHAMEFUL

He repaired the machine, but I don’t like that for almost $400. It’s still vibrates. And he said that’s just how it is unless I buy a new machine. He also did not put down a dropcloth which caused excessive grease staining from I think his knees on my floor. He was definitely not wearing the cleanest attire. I had to buy a special cleaner to remove it. And when I asked him about it, he gaslit me and told me it was there before he arrived. I honestly will never use the service again.

I have been bombarded with texts and emails since I contacted sears. I paid more for the 1 minute diagnostic were he tried to use the microwave to conclude it needed a repair, with no attempt to open it up for a real examination, than it would cost to replace the unit. Enjoy your free $250 sears; you used to be reasonable and dependable.

They didn’t show the first day because I wasn’t informed I needed to call them to let them know I got the parts they ordered. I called and rescheduled and then on the second appt they asked again whether I had the parts. Overpriced and bad experience.

Tech kept asking me what was wrong with the machine. I explained what the problem was to be asked again what was wrong with it. Was scheduled to arrive by 1:45 did not arrive until 4. Was told what he "thinks" the problem may be and a as advised it would be cheaper for new machine. The thought didn't match symptoms though

less than one star... did not resolve issue, kept saying all new appliances were "built crappy"; did not know what a loose part was which I later learned was solution to problem. His only solution was a new motor even when i told him I had just replaced the motor in August.

This company has an AI-only phone line. It is not possible to speak to a human being for any reason. The AI bot literally said to me "this business is managed by an AI-only phone line" when I requested to speak to a live person. So, if you have an issue, complaint, or any other reason you might require human interaction, you can't get it from this company. Not only did not they not repair my washing machine, they caused further damage, and now I can't talk to anyone about it.

Newly installed compressor installed on 12/16. Failed in 12/17. Freezer is warm. Ice maker only producing water. “Fixed” under New Leaf extende warranty- no charge.
