I didn't know they were still in service. Don't waste your money, horrible service and repair men. I was under contract with my dryer they sent a very sullen guy who took the dryer apart worked on it and then was going to put it back together without cleaning the lint & dust piled up on the inside. He said he wasn't and I said okay calling your boss then he got real mad but his boss told him to clean. it. Next my dishwasher stopped working they sent a guy, he had to order a part a month later and now past contract time the part came in & he replaced it only to find it needed another part, finally got that and I asked if he tried it and he said yes it works fine. Went to do dishes that night and it would spray that was it , didn't clean or work right, I called they never called back and I called several times. Now I have no dishwasher so be careful with Sears.

I feel this service is a scam. After verifying with Shane that he is qualified to test the resistance of the parts he comes over and tests…nothing! He claims the refrigerator icing issue is from leaky seals (I highly doubt it). He writes me up an estimate for $1,000. If it costs $1,000 to fix “leaky seals,” based upon his word (no diagnostic testing), then no one is apt to fix anything. This felt like a sell job to grab a quick $140 and split. He didn’t even defrost the coils or check the drain. SMH

Wacky waste of time experience. Knew we were in trouble when Sears sent out a “Maytag certified specialty” technician Shane who confused a washer with a dryer. Went downhill from there. Basically needed 3 visits (one visit a no show but counted since we waited all day without a heads up) and two people to say that they couldn’t do the job. And they insisted on being paid!!! FYI: Shane is a seriously creepy guy as well as incompetent. The Sears Home Warranty plan sounds like a good deal but it is not.😣😖😫😩😢
