Mixed feelings, however, finally the washing machine is fixed. Numerous damaged parts received, wrong parts installed causing clogging of the drain, numerous large damaged and wrongly ordered parts left for me to discard! and inaccurate information from on line staff. Technicians that finally fixed it were great though. Took three tries to get it right.

I would've given 5 stars, as the technician was excellent at identifying and fixing the issue with my furnace, but he failed to check if my furnace was under a protection agreement (which it was and I didn't remember until the next day) so I was charged the full amount of the repair. Sears has since rectified the issue and I was given a full refund.

I rarely post a review and after the experience yesterday and not being able to find a contact email on the Sears Homes Services page, I felt to put a review here. My technician was very nice. He did a few minor things and declared the washer functioning because some water came into the unit and was pumped out with the steps he used on the key panel for the unit. When I put in laundry an hour later it did not work. I mentioned in my work order I was getting the OE error for the Kenmore Washer. I found information on this error online and it felt like a common error. The unit continues to hum which is an indicator the drain pump has likely failed..which feels like the correct assessment since the error became more prevalent over the last few weeks. The technician said they don't travel with parts. I guess the fate of the washer was likely sealed since it likely needed a pump and it was 15 years old. I got an automated message to give Sears a call after I wrote this review. The response came on 11/30 and I tried calling on 12/5. When I called the number provided the system didn't allow me to hit zero to try to get to a person and it hung up on me. I called the Sears number on their website and when I asked to talk to a person the AI representative Samantha said they are an AI only system. I had hope to come to some resolution here and talk to a person but not luck. If I could have done this differently, I would have run the washer or tried to run it while I was talking to the technician for 45 minutes about house renovations.

The tech broke pieces of the part in question while diagnosing the issue. Wholes where screws go in will no longer work. Some covers could not be placed back on. The refrigerator inverter board was left hanging. That part was original and had never been messed with. Very sloppy job and did not answer my call.
