Bruce was dismissive and haughty, didn't even look into the problem with my refrigerator, refused to repair it. I called the Sears warranty department who said Bruce was wrong on everything he told me. They put me in touch directly with the Sears warranty and parts departments who were astounded at Bruce's lack of initiative and wrong conclusions

Disrespectful and Rude. Charged and Ordered Parts That Weren’t Used. I Called Several Times Complaining About The Same Service Worker And He Was Sent Back Out To Complete The Job. By The Way It’s Still Making Noise. If I Could I’d Provide A Rating Of A 0 But Unfortunately I Cannot . I Have Attempted To Reach Out To Customer Support. However, I Have Not Been Successful With Contacting A Supervisor Only Customer Service Agents. I Have Requested To Speak With A Supervisor On Several Occasions But Have Been Told There Isn’t Any Available To Take My Calls And That My Issues Would Be Resolved In An Appropriate Manner. When Is It Okay For A Repair Service Agent To Visit Your Home And Question The Ages Of Members Of Your Household And Yell At You As If You’re Visiting Their Home Or Offering Services To Him? The Additional Parts Which He Ordered Are Still Here. My Dryer Is Humming And The Stove Spits Out Gusts Of Flames Worse Than Before It Was Repaired Or Cleaned.

The technicians were very nice and polite. I had a scheduled appointment for repair. I was contacted by text of an earlier appt date. I requested that appointment but was told that it was available. So I asked when was the next date available they said the same earlier appt date! So it was available I just can’t have it after THEY contacted me of the availability. I am frustrated with this waste of time and frustration. And no one can explain why I was contacted in the first place of the earlier appt date. Somewhere their computer system has a disconnect. This needs to be addressed so that other customers don’t fall down this rabbit hole of endless text offering earlier appointments that can’t be booked! I would give it a zero if I could. The displeasure is not with the technicians. It’s with a very faulty computer automation. Very unhappy and frustrated. Not a good experience and totally unnecessary.

Total rip off! Charges $150 just to look at machine only to determine the repair is the cost of a new machine. After declining and forced to pay $150 for nothing repair guy tells me I can order on Amazon for $70 and put it on myself!!! I wouldn’t recommend to anyone!

Horrible. Technician was rude, aggressive and combative with my husband. Told us we had to agree to the service before he could send the report to our home warranty company even though we knew it was not true. Even tried to get us to pay out of pocket for a service that was covered by the warranty company. When we told him that we needed to talk to the home warranty company, he grew even more agitated. Presented himself as a scam artist and very untrustworthy. If I could give 0 stars I would. Terrible experience! Poor customer service.

I wish that I could give it a 0!! Very combative technician that arrived to my home. I was basically trying to understand and ask questions. He's the expert not me, so therefore yes, I work hard for my money. So, he basically sold out to my warranty company because I didn't agree to him doing a side job. He offered and I refused. Sears has always been a ripped off so thanks but no thanks never again!!

Shame! Shame! Shame! I've been waiting for repair service for almost sixty days now, with only unbelievable excuses of why Sears had to reschedule my appointments. 3 appointments were rescheduled since July 1st, with no acceptable explanation, but a bunch of apologies. Finally today and taking another day off from work, I have been waiting 9 hours for at least a phone call from Sears or a technician confirming that someone is going to show up today.. Today, I spoke with 2 representatives and was assured that "Bruce" is scheduled to come out today. I still have another 1.5 hours of wait to see if anybody will show up TODAY! Sears Home Service must do better! I have taken off a total of 2 days from work WAITING.... At this point, if and when my appliance is repaired, I will let my home warranty company know how disappointed I am with Sears and if there are NO other service providers OTHER THAN SEARS for my local area, then I plan to drop my warranty all together. Shame on you Sears. I will follow up with another post in about 2 hours, if the technician does not show!

Their whole model is a scam charging diagnostic fee upfront or charging for the repair before they even do the repair. I had a broken AC unit, paid $500 for the repair and the job was never done. Repairman Bruce completely ghosted us. Going through the company, I still had no luck getting a refund. Even mailed a part back to them but was told I'd have to sue to get money back (Again, for a repair that was never done.) Filed claim with bank but we'll see. Do not hire anyone from this dying company.
