Is it common to pay for the part AND the labor when you need to order the part to be sent to my home? And, can’t you give a better time window than 7 am-6 pm? (Still waiting for the technician to arrive & the repair to be done.) Calling the phone number listed or doing the chat is kind of futile…it’s just a recording/bot. How do you get to talk to a human being??? (Happy to edit & revise, once I get my fully paid for service completed.)

Tech showed up with 2 forms,never seen or communicated to me prior, that had to be signed or service would not be performed. The forms related to my wooden kitchen cabinets, possible damage to my floor and/or scratches on my dishwasher??? I bought the appliance extended warranty through Assurant-not A&E-Sears??

First guy last week diagnosed problem, ordered part to be delivered to the house on Monday, said he would return on Tuesday to replace. Never showed, no call. New guy comes today and says he wants to re-diagnose and takes whole oven apart again only to decide that the first tech was right all along and finally just replaced the part. After delivery of part, the experience was not pleasant

The technician was great, but the Sears system is not. When the repair was scheduled, the part had to be shipped to my house (not Sears), and there was no guarantee that the part would arrive in time for the repair. Fast forward to a few days before the scheduled repair date - the part still hasn’t arrived. So I check UPS and there is a dark, blurry picture that “confirms” the part was delivered, but no way to tell where based on the picture and it’s not at my house. So I try contacting Sears but all I have is a chatbot to talk to that is no help. Al I can do is contact UPS about the delivery and reschedule for a later date in hopes that the issue will be corrected in time. So yeah, Sears doesn’t make it very convenient as they put all of hassle on you to connect the dots. Just wish the cost of the repair reflected their lack of convenience.

Well, the Sears Service man was talking at me instead of talking to me about things that’s not right with the copper tubing. Insulation had no problem until you started talking at me, When he should’ve been talking to me, is that was Totally unprofessional if I ever need my service done again, send someone else

Dealing with your company was a bad experience. I would not refer you. 1) The wrong description of my washer was on all notifications. I have a top loading GE washer & you have it listed as a stacked set. The serial # is correct. This caused problems. 2) On 5/30/24 my appt. window was 8--5. At 7:50pm I was given an arrival time of 9:50pm. I was held for 12 hours & the repair did not happen. 3) Your appt. system is faulty & no good. An appt. is something that is made between 2 parties --- not assigned & moved by your company. People are not available when you decide they are. There is no way to message or talk to anyone at your company! 4)The 2nd repairman did not know the problem or the product. The diagnosis is not on record. It had been diagnosed and the parts were here. Finally, at 6 weeks my machine was finally repaired. It was a really horrible experience

Tech made me aware of what was causing the washer to not work. $500 parts and labor. He repair the machine but the washer machine is still not working.

Don’t get suckered like me; never use Sears Home Services for appliance repair. Our tech showed up visibly ill. We offered to reschedule. He declined and then proceeded to mail it in. Said our dryer would cost $700 to fix without any breakdown or explanation. We opted to buy a new one for less than the cost of his quoted repair. I had a discount for the diagnostic fee, which he said he couldn’t honor. Told me the “system” wouldn’t accept it, and the discount offers are essentially lies. I tried to follow up with customer service, but Sears only uses AI agents. You can’t speak with a human, and no email is listed on the website. So, this is the only way to complain. The whole system is a scam. Sears should be ashamed.
