8am-5pm service window with no estimated updates on when they’ll arrive is absolutely ridiculous. People have work & things to do but you’re expected to sit around & wait for them all day.

This review is not for the specific technician, but for SEARS repair service overall. The lack of communication within this company is WILD. We hired SEARS to repair our dryer. A technician was sent out to diagnose and order the parts needed for the repair. We waited 3 weeks for the parts to finally arrive, at which point SEARS sent out a DIFFERENT technician who called me on his way to say that if he "didn't agree" with the diagnosis that the first tech made, he may not be able to fix our machine. He arrived and looked at the parts that were ordered, unsurprisingly "didn't agree", nor could he get a screw out of the machine to open it so he said he wouldn't be fixing the machine. During the 3 weeks of waiting for the parts to arrive, I attempted to contact SEARS multiple times, but they only have AI customer service now and they won't connect you to a real person. The technicians who came out do not communicate with each other which seems insane if they are going to send two different people. We ended up having to just order a whole new machine because the tech refused to fix ours. If I could give negative stars, I would. Horrible service.

HORRIBLE! From the. Get go….my name is wrong I’ve expressed that several times! My time was 8 - 5 but was told I would be notified by text & email the night before as well as morning of I WASNT! I called several times trying to talk to someone about a time AI wouldn’t put me thru when it picked up my number my appointment was confirmed I was disconnected. Finally the tech called me (NOT HIS FAULT) st 2;30 to say I’ll be there before 5. At 5:00 Joesph showed up very nice tech but didn’t have the part to fix my washer and wouldn’t be in till December. I declined his service I paid the service charge BUT I feel as if I should have received a discount due to communication. I don’t recommend Sears and I wont be calling them again.

I’m once again very disappointed with the service I experienced. The company must know exactly what I requested the service for and yet they seem to be sending over every inexperienced technician available which I have to help with tools et … on top of that the technician who replaced my ice maker forgot (although he told me he did) to turn the water back on. I realized after the ice maker wasn’t making any more ice that this was the problem and I fixed it myself. Very disappointing service. I’m never using them again.

Complete junk service!!! They Deserve zero stars. I called for refrigerator repair. They scheduled me for the very next day. I waited all day long hoping that they could get there before things start going bad in the fridge at close of Business they sent me a text stating that they could not get a repairman out to my area for five days and that I would have to reschedule when I called the service back. All I got was an AI technician and was not able to speak to anyone when a business tells you that they will be here on a certain date and they do not show up. How can I trust them to do good work for good money

Do not send Rich from Sears/A&E. He doesn’t know what he’s doing, made my AC problem worse, and then tried to charge me more while pretending the issue was always there. The technicians from Sears are lazy and poorly trained—they will only make things worse…Sears asked me to contact them; I did. I have not received a return call email or letter…very disappointing.

If you're using home warranty, save your time and go with someone else. I put in two requests for Sears to service my air conditioner. The first request was "canceled" with no explanation but the service request showed completed 🤔. The second request saw the repair guy show up but state that be was unable to service the equipment due to an "issue with the ticket" that wouldn't allow him to collect the deductible. Time wasted as he likely knew this before he came there.
